NSE does provide free live quotes but I haven't come across any linux based application which can retrieve the information from the NSE site. There is a Windows software though which can pull the NSE live quotes, display and update them every minute. The above mentioned program qtstalker is for technical analysis / charting only. I think it should be possible to write a simple script (similar to a site scrapper) which can extract the quotes from NSE site for specific scrips every minute and display them on a terminal screen. -- Manish Kathuria http://www.tuxtechnologies.co.in/ ___ ilugd mailinglist -- ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org http://frodo.hserus.net/mailman/listinfo/ilugd Next Event: http://freed.in - September 28-29, 2007 Archives at: http://news.gmane.org/gmane.user-groups.linux.delhi http://www.mail-archive.com/ilugd@lists.linux-delhi.org/
