In GNU/Linux several tools are there for video editing, I have tried almost all but still in nascent stage. Well, then its just the beginning of the journey and we have to go miles with GNU/Linux before we sleep. But as in windows if OS fails...it is very easy to use that drive as secondary in other PC and access the datashow this type of utilities in Linux.
