I have an iPhone, and I got it because my old phone was terrible, it
couldn't keep up with 30-second calls, and it was the LG Vu. My iPod nano 3G
is getting older by the day, and I have had this for 2.5 years. So I thought
about getting an iPod touch and a new phone, and found out I got a discount
for a new phone so I got an iPhone, and here is where I am.

I got the 3Gs only because I didn't want the delicate iPhone 4 with me. One
drop and KABOOM! The 3Gs is much more durable, but I still got a case for
it.

Yet another update, and a happier one. My cat started fiddling with

Actually, there are better and worse cables. Quality does depend on the

with less data loss.
Although, I do agree, there is quite a bit of hyping up a good cable.

DVI, VGA, or HDMI?

VGA is analog, so not your best choice.
DVI and HDMI are both digital. Both will give you a great signal. I don't think
there's any difference in quality between them. HDMI is used for HD TV's

This made me curious so I looked these up on WikiP.

It appears that a dual DVI connection will support a bigger display of
2560x1600.

However the HDMI has a wider bandwidth of 10.2 Gbps and 340 MHz. The DVI
signal is shown as 3.96 Mbps or 7.92 Mbps ith a dual connection.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_Visual_Interface

For your purpose either should do well. Perhaps high speed video cards for
gamers would use the HDMI bandwidth to advantage.

It might take an electrical engineer to wade through all of the signaling
options and feedback circuitry available with either and to explain their
use and advantages for various display purposes.
