Dear IT'rs AS400 (S65BB7BA) ditempat saya sering banget ngeblank/tidak mau akses nih...? saya dah cek di Networking AS400nya, tidak ada masalah, diping selalu request? waktu saya masih gunakan Switch HUB sering sekali ngblanknya, terus saya ganti pake managable HUB disitu sudah agak kurang ngeblanknya, trus saya ganti pake Cisco CATALYST, trus normal2 aja, btw waktu 2 hari kemarin mulai lagi deh ngeblanknya? Kira2 dimana yah permasalahannya? Kalo mau stabil lebih baik pakai Wireless aja, banyak kok yg cover daerah anda. Hal ini mengurangi ketergantungan ke TELKOM yg suka ngaco servicenya, selain itu juga lebih murah dan jauh lebih cepat instalasinya. Co: CBN kira2 7 jt/bulan utk adsl, sedangkan kalo paka wireless(5.8 GHz) kira2 6 jt. utk ADSL makan waktu 1 minggu utk instalasi baru dan bisa makan waktu sampai 1 bulan utk migrasi === Justru sekarang saya pake wireless indosat IM2 128 1:1, pointing dari gajahmada ke menara kebon sirih, cuma bts yang di gajahmada sering banget drop, ada aja masalahnya, yang modem-lah, power supply-lah, dan nggak tanggung2, berjam-jam di hari kerja... ..service telkom... hmmm, banyak kesan negatif ya untuk bisnis ini ... yang saya dengar... Itu yg ditakutin, tanya ke toko dikasih spec yg paling mahal, taunya bagian render lemot juga! disini pake PIV 3.2Ghz+2GB+VGA Asus 6600GT, nunggunya masih lama kalo lagi render 3D. Pak, udah pernah coba atau tahu mengenai motherboard ASUS A8N-SLI Deluxe (Dual PCIex) gak? ato ada recommended (Motherboard+VGA,dsb)? RiQ = Kalo memang duwitnya tumbuh di pohon (atau jatuh dari langit), pake aja spek yang paling tinggi Pak hehehe :) Dateng aja ke toko, minta spek terbaik dan termahal yang mereka punya... enggak pusing lah... :) Contoh bisa pake Xeon Dual Prosesor atau Pentium 4 Extreme Edition atau bahkan AMD64... Speed sih jelas ambil yang paling tinggi lah... RAM 2 GB minimal... HDD 400 GB (sepasang buat RAID0)... VGA ya pake aja yang paling mahal hehehe... FYI speed bukan segalanya. Tidak menunjukkan rating yang sebenernya. Celeron 2.6 mhz masih bukan apa2nya dibanding Pentium M yang cuma clock 1,7 ghz. Buat 3d jelas ATI Fire GL atau Nvidia Quadro. Matrox sayang udah jadi masa lalu. Jaman sekarang dengan dualcore dengan kecpatan biasa dibawah 3 ghz masih lebih baik dari pada single core dengan kecepatan 4 ghz. Sebaiknya memang cari reference dulu, jangan langsung ke toko. Mereka pasti promosiin produk yang meraka jual. Buat reference bisa liat di forum oprekpc.com atau chip.co.id. tinggal lemparan pertanyaan pasti banyak yang mau bantu dengan ikhlas. Ya kalo dibanding dengan wireless ya gak fair dong mas. Secara umum kan koneksi wireline lebih stabil dibanding wireless. Saya admin 2 lan, satu pake cbn-kabelvision, satu pake adsl speedy telkom (dulunya), lokasi keduanya di sudirman, jaksel. Percaya nggak kalo saya bilang 3 bulan terakhir cbn-kabelvision blom pernah drop? tnx. Justru itu point-nya yg saya harapkan, jadi mungkin mending pake wireline dengan bandwith kecil (lebih lambat-lebih murah) tapi koneksi STABIL, daripada pake wireless dengan bandwith gede (dan mahal) tapi - boleh dibilang - tiap bulan min. 3 kali ngedrop, hari kerja lagi.. bikin bt abis. hmmm, cbn-kabelvision, apa cbn-telkom ya.. Minta tolong, Virus apa yah yang kalo kita buka salah satu folder misalnya folder data eh ga lama di dalem folder data itu terbentuk folder data lagi dengan icon yang sama (folder) tapi berekstensi .exe, pas saya doble klik dia langsung menuju induk dari folder data (misalnya my document). Btw, rendering Anda seberat apa sih kalo boleh tau? Kalo memang efeknya aujubilah banyaknya, ya komputer satu (mau pake multiprosesor tercepat sekalipun) sih enggak akan jadi cepet... dulu di Ratu Plaza (Polaris), kalo render project mereka pake lebih dari 50 komputer hehehe... 3dsmax uda support distributed rendering kan... Pastikan juga driver2 mobo/vga uda diinstall bener... takutnya kelupaan (fatal sih akibatnya). Apa bedanya KVM Switch dan Swith biasa. Kalau saya mau buat LAN untuk pengajaran komputer kepada murid-murid menggunakan 40 komputer, apakah harus pasang dua-duanya KVM Swith dan Swith, supaya saya bisa kontrol komputer anak-anak dan anak-anak bisa ambil data ke server? atau pakai swith saja sudah cukup, kontrol komputer anak-anak pakai software aja, tapi kalau begini apakah ngak jadi lambat prosesnya? Setahu saya format suara untuk DVD adalah 48 MHz dan 16 Bit. Saya membaca di internet baiknya bit-depth itu dinaikkan misalnya ke 32 Bit, terus nantinya dikonversi ke bit-dept 16 bit untuk memperkecil noise-nya. Apakah memang benar? Ada saran lain untuk mengambil suara lomba karaoke via Line in di kompie, supaya hasilnya bagus? Setahu saya format suara untuk DVD adalah 48 MHz dan 16 Bit. = 48 kHz, bukan MHz. Betul itu adalah format audio standar DVD. Saya membaca di internet baiknya bit-depth itu dinaikkan misalnya ke 32 Bit, terus nantinya dikonversi ke bit-dept 16 bit untuk memperkecil noise-nya. Apakah memang benar? = Antara betul dan tidak. Susah dijelaskan secara singkat, karena akan membutuhkan pengertian teknik up/re/oversampling/dithering dan juga pengertian akan titik potong frekuensi/crossover dan hukum Nyquist akan efek dari penggunaan sampling yang terlalu ketat dengan batas atas frekuensi yang ingin disampling. Jelas teknik2 ini enggak akan bisa dimengerti dalam waktu singkat. Ada banyak buku dan tutorial yang bagus. Saya rekomendasikan salah satunya adalah Mastering Audio karangan Bob Katz (ke Amazon.com deh kalo mau beli). Tapi manfaat yang didapat kadang tidak signifikan. Penggunaan bitrate dan sampling tinggi akan berefek pada ukuran file yang luar bisa besar (dan butuh huge amount of resources). Kalo memang punya resource yang besar sih basicnya no problem. Ambil aja bitrate/sampling terbesar yang hardware Anda mampu (biasanya sih 24 bit 192 kHz), lalu abis itu baru di-dithering lagi ke 16/48. Harusnya lebih bagus daripada langsung di take di 16/48. Ada saran lain untuk mengambil suara lomba karaoke via Line in di kompie, supaya hasilnya bagus? = Sound card dulu lah yang utama... gimana caranya mau ngebut kalo mesin mobilnya aja uda jelas enggak mendukung gitu loh hehehe... kalo uda ada, baru sempurnakan teknik dengan software dan praktek yang tepat. Salah spek, pakai VGA Card ato card khusus rendering seperti matrox, AVID dll. ato pakai Mac sekalian. gak perlu memory dan CPU tinggi krn proses rendering yg kerja keras hard disk dan VGA. CMIIW, soalnya kalo enggak salah inget, original poster itu ngomongin 3dsmax loh (3D)... bukan ngomongin adobe premier (Video). Kalo mau sekalian beli HDD-nya SCSI yang kelas AV, dengan thermal calibration yang lebih baik supaya tidak ada frame drop. Tapi ini setau saya untuk AV rendering, bukan untuk rendering 3D. Sebagai gambaran saya hanya pakai add-in matrox/avid, memory cuma 1 gig, VGA cuma GF2-4MX 32 MB dan hard disk 30 GB kuat2 aja tuh utk bikin telop/iklan durasi 30-60 detik = Sekali lagi saya tanya, Anda rendering iklan ini video or 3D? Kalo video, jelas spek Anda sudah cukup. La wong Anda sudah pake add- on Matrox/AVID yang harganya setau saya mahal sekali $500 sampai $2000. Card2 ini memang bisa menggantikan fungsi prosesor untuk rendering video (tapi tidak semua effect disupport untuk real time rendering). Prosesor sedang (2 Ghz kurang) dan RAM 1 GB plus VGA standar saja sudah lebih dari cukup. Sisanya akan dihandle oleh Matrox/AVID Anda... Coba Anda lepas itu Matrox/AVID, dijamin spek tersebut enggak akan bikin Anda puas. Kalo bicara rendering 3D, silakan coba 3dsmax dengan berbagai efek (raytrace, mirror, etc). Dijamin dengan spek di atas (prosesor yang tidak tinggi, RAM 1 GB, VGA GF2-4MX), Anda enggak akan bilang cukup :) Thanks. Hi ITers Saya lagi kesulitan dengan sistem purchasing dikantor nih... dengan kata lain masih manual mengandalkan excel saja untuk bikin RF (Requisition Form) dan PO. Ada yang bisa bantu gak, dimana ada program yang bisa dibeli yang bisa untuk menangani RF sampai ke PO. Tentu saja program ini jangan besar2 karna struktur organisasi saya yang kecil (budgetnya juga gak gede lah) at least bisa masukin data barang yang ingin dibeli trus print-out RF yang lalu diapprove secara manual lalu bikin PO, lalu bisa query juga. Mungkin pake Visual Basic atau web based juga gak papa databasenya access saja dan print-outnya terserah asal format previewnya bisa diliat dulu sebelum diprint. thanks semuanya... hmm...tadi saya coba koneksikan komputer saya dengan modem adsl dan sedikit ubah setting ip nya trus coba jalanin aplikasi klikbca dan bisa...saya pakai speedy yg limited sepertinya memang aplikasi klikbca ini tidak bisa jalan dengan internet connection sharing ya gimana kalao pake 2 network card: 1 ke server dan 1 lagi ke modem adsl...bisasecure ga ya ? Hallo rekan-rekan, Adakah yang pernah bikin aplikasi untuk Agen Ticket Pesawat, dimana aplikasi tsb bisa mengkonsolidasi data-data reservasi dari beberapa reservation system milik beberapa perusahaan penerbangan, seperti Abacus, Lion, Mandala, dsb (ada yang web based), Data dari transaksi reservasi tsb akan di integrasikan untuk mengontrol Pembayaran (Invoice) sesuai status yg sdh booked release. Pak, saya me-render hanya utk render 3d menggunakan aplikasi 3dsmax 7 saja, yg dirasakan memang lambat apabila kita banyak menggunakan efek seperti kata Pak Jimmy. Sebenarnya spec yg saya punya sudah cukup lumayan, tetapi karena Boss ingin hasil 3D-nya smooth, ya hrs memerlukan efek yg byk dan itu yg bikin lemot. Ada yg blon cerah nih mengenai 2 VGACard PCIex, apakah kita bisa menggunakan 2 monitor? ato hanya 1 monitor dan fungsinya hanya utk menambah dari 8x menjadi 16x? Sebagai gambaran saya hanya pakai add-in matrox/avid, memory cuma 1 gig, VGA cuma GF2-4MX 32 MB dan hard disk 30 GB kuat2 aja tuh utk bikin telop/iklan durasi 30-60 detik = Sekali lagi saya tanya, Anda rendering iklan ini video or 3D? Kalo video, jelas spek Anda sudah cukup. La wong Anda sudah pake add- on Matrox/AVID yang harganya setau saya mahal sekali $500 sampai $2000. Card2 ini memang bisa menggantikan fungsi prosesor untuk rendering video (tapi tidak semua effect disupport untuk real time rendering). Prosesor sedang (2 Ghz kurang) dan RAM 1 GB plus VGA standar saja sudah lebih dari cukup. Sisanya akan dihandle oleh Matrox/AVID Anda... Coba Anda lepas itu Matrox/AVID, dijamin spek tersebut enggak akan bikin Anda puas. Kalo bicara rendering 3D, silakan coba 3dsmax dengan berbagai efek (raytrace, mirror, etc). Dijamin dengan spek di atas (prosesor yang tidak tinggi, RAM 1 GB, VGA GF2-4MX), Anda enggak akan bilang cukup :) Thanks. Jadi begini Pak... Didalam server itu sudah ada card buddynya sudah include program pak ? Pak, saya me-render hanya utk render 3d menggunakan aplikasi 3dsmax 7 saja, yg dirasakan memang lambat apabila kita banyak menggunakan efek seperti kata Pak Jimmy. Sebenarnya spec yg saya punya sudah cukup lumayan, tetapi karena Boss ingin hasil 3D-nya smooth, ya hrs memerlukan efek yg byk dan itu yg bikin lemot. Ada yg blon cerah nih mengenai 2 VGACard PCIex, apakah kita bisa menggunakan 2 monitor? ato hanya 1 monitor dan fungsinya hanya utk menambah dari 8x menjadi 16x? = Pada dasarnya, satu VGA sekarang sudah support minimal 2 monitor. Jadi Anda bisa pake dua monitor langsung dengan satu PC. Salah satu card, yaitu Matrox Parhelia (versi PCI) bahkan bisa support sampe 3 monitor dalam satu card (Anda bisa beli lebih dari satu card kalo mau bikin giant screen. Dulu teman saya pernah minta tolong bantu bikin 9 LCD 21 via 3 Matrox Parhelia. Dia buat setup di hospital sih) . It works great. Tapi seperti kata Pak Bass, sayangnya Matrox ini tidak sepesial buat 3D, seperti yang ditawarin Nvidia Quadro ama ATI FireGL. Kalo Anda pake card AGP, maka 2nd card-nya harus PCI. Kalo PCI-e itu bisa pasang 2 card PCI-e, yang teorinya bisa punya speed lebih tinggi. Tapi setau saya ini berlaku di card consumer untuk game. Untuk card pro (Quadro dan FireGL), saya sendiri belum tau gimana feature SLI-nya (maklum, dah lama banting setir kaga ngikuti teknis vga ini hehehe).
