Rekan-rekan, saya akan menggunakan PC dan projektor untuk mengajar anak-anak komputer. Yang jadi masalah adalah kalau colokan dari projektor ditancapkan di PC, maka monitor saya tidak dapat menampilkan gambar dari PC di layarnya dan sebaliknya. Bagaimana mengatasi masalah ini, apakah bisa menggunakan alat yang namanya video splitter sehingga baik projektor maupun layar monitor bisa menampilkan gambar dari PC? Sekitar berapa harganya? Atau ada cara lain? Trims. MUngkin satu saat nanti, kalau mau kerja kepada siapapun bisa dari jurusan apa saja asal tersertifikasi sesuai kebutuhan. 2. jika tidak mengambil jurusan TI/ilkom dan dalam suatu univ. itu bisa shopping mata kuliah, mata kuliah apa saja yang cukup rumit untuk dipelajari secara otodidak? berikut mata kuliah yang tersedia, sekali lagi mohon maaf jika teks ini terlalu panjang Ambil matematika aljabar linier, struktur data, Matematika diskret. Kalau yang ini udah jago, yang lainnya turunan dari sini kata temen saya yang dosen. 3. kompetensi apa yang dibutuhkan (pada umumnya) yang dibutuhkan dalam dunia IT? Terimakasih Kompetensi apa? untuk kerja atau kebutuhan anda sendiri ? Kalau untuk kerja lihat di standar kompetensi yang dikeluarkan BNSP atau LSP Telematika. www.telematika.or.id disitu ada kerjaannya apa butuh kompetensi apa. Daftar sertifikasinya dan tempat ujinya juga ada. Kalau untuk kesenangan sendiri, ya terserah, mau bisa apa mau kompeten dibidang apa. Kalau sekolah, peluang untuk berfikir analitis lebih tinggi daripada tidak sekolah. Tapi tidak menjamin yang sekolah lebih analitis, meskipun seharusnya lebih. Kebanyakan orang sekolah untuk nyari nilai dan ijasah, biar bisa dipakai untuk nyari kerja. Sedikit orang sekolah untuk belajar. Makanya kadang orang yang tidak sekolah, kadang bisa lebih analitis karena mereka paksa diri mereka sendiri untuk belajar, bukan untuk nyari nilai. Kalau ngga belajar, ya pasti terdepak dengan sendirinya. Susah dong bersaing dengan yang sekolah kalau sama-sama ngga belajar, sama-sama ngga bisa. Kalau sekolah mau gampang lulus dengan nilai gede dan bisa nyari kerjaan dengan mudah, jangan ambil kuliah yang susah. Cari dosen yang ngasih nilainya gampang. Ngga usah mikir ini berhubungan dengan kompetensi atau tidak, yang penting kan nilainya A. Kalau mau belajar dengan baik, ya tanya sama dosennya mana yang fundamental dan perlu didalami biar terpakai saat belajar yang lain. Apalagi terpakai ditempat kerja. Tapi masalahnya setiap saat restart, kok ga muncul dialog box untuk login ke domain ya ? Kalau pengalaman saya dulu waktu saya kuliah di binus.. banyak teman2 saya sambil kuliah terus sambil kursus.kebetulan Binus ada menyediakan tempat kursus namanya binus center. Disana ada macam2 kursus, dari programming sampai networking. Nah, sambil kuliah bisa ambil kursus untuk ujian CCNA.kalau ngga salah kursusnya 1 tahun trus abis kursus bisa ambil ujian untuk CCNA. Kan enak, pas lulus kuliah uda certified CCNA . nyari kerja juga lebih mudah.. Dear all, Saya sering menemui kasus seperti ini terutama file-file office. Dulu sih jaman pake office 97 AFAIK biasanya office akan menyimpan history action sehingga memungkinkan undo dan redo. Nah berhubung semua history tersimpan ukuran file menjadi besar. Sayangnya meski sudah di save dan undo maupun redo tidak bisa dilakukan setelah file di close dan disimpan tetap saja ukuran file nya menjadi besar. Salah satu cara yang lumayan sukses, dengan mengcopy isi file (tidak pakai select all) kemudian di pasti ke document/spreadsheet/presentation baru, kemudian file baru tersebut disimpan. Untuk penggunaan makro atau vlookup atau formula bisa membuat ukuran file menjadi besar. Hasilnya lumayan loh, jadi kecil. kalau menurut saya setelah melihat dilapangan, keanyakan perusahaan membutuhkan gelar dalam menerima karyawan dan menerima skil dalam bekerja, itu adalah dilakukan HRD perusahaan dalam merangkul karyawan. para HRD ini adalah kebanyakan orang FISIP yang mungkin rata-rata kurang faham bidang IT.
