[ITCENTER] Cara backup tape (1/8 autoloader)
Dear all, Salam kenal Mohon bantuannya, saya disuruh membackup data menggunakan HP storage works 1/8 autoloader dan menggunakan software Brightstore Arcserve Backup. Pertanyaanya : 1. HP autoloader ada 8 slot tape, apakah awal pemasangannya harus 8 tape sekaligus, ato bisa 1 per 1? 2. Ketika tape dimasukkan ke autoloader, di brightstore terbaca blank media, apakah harus diformat terlebih dulu? 3. Apakah manajemen tape dilakukan terpisah? (instalasi tape menggunakan software dari HP, sedangkan brightstore hanya berfungsi sebagai software backup saja?) Dear All, Mohon bantuannya, saya mendapat email dengan attchment .doc. Emailnya menggunakan lotus notes 6.5 dan Windows Vista. Saat membuka langsung dari lotus notes (double click - open), maka secara otomatis akan membuka MS Word 2007. Setelah terbuka dokumennya, beberapa lama kemudian keluar error spt ini: download updates for microsoft office system software. This program was caused by microsoft office software. kemudian file tersebut menutup kembali dan membuka program word 2007 baru dengan dokumen kosong. Saya sudah menginstall SP1 untuk Office 2007, tapi problem tersebut masih muncul. Tips ajah :D, Kalau memungkinkan policy network di perusahaannya mengizinkan remote, ada baiknya masalah-masalah kecil yang terjadi pada user bisa diselesaikan secara remote, hal ini akan sangat membantu kestabilan emosi seorang support. Kenapa ? Coba bayangin, sesabar apapun dia kalau harus menyelesaikan masalah kecil seperti salah klik saja harus naik turun tangga sebanyak 10x (incase lift mati) pasti akan mempengaruhi : 1. Nafasnya (hehehe) 2. Kecepatan berpikirnya 3. Emosinya. Apalagi ditambah bos yang kurang asik, temen yang sox tahu, gaji yg ngepas. dijamin ga akan diterusin karir berdebu tersebut :D Ada banyak aplikasi management workstation secara remote sekarang, ada yang gratis ada juga yg komersil. dimana si technical support bisa hadir di meja user dalam waktu 10 detik. Pastinya metode ini sangat efektif bagi IT dept untuk meminimalisasikan kemungkinan stress yang berlebihan pada staffnya, dan juga memudahkan bagi si user untuk mengerti mempelajari apa yang si TS lakukan, beda dengan on-site langsung ke mejanya dimana si user pasti menyingkir dan tidak mungkin melihat apa yang TS ketik atau klik karena masalah bau badan si TS yang tidak bisa di tolerir si User .. Sebagai komparasi, ditempat saya ada developer software dari India bikin aplikasi pake asp.net masih pake komponen tambahan berbayar hanya untuk membuat datagrid namanya infragistic.. padahal orang indonesia ngga perlu di bilang programmer .net handal juga bisa bikin datagrid manual di asp.net sesuai kebutuhan tanpa harus beli komponen mahal. IMHO Kalau ada kata Ip private berarti komputer didalam lan, tergantung bagaimana model sharing koneksi didepannya.. proses NAT tentunya. trojan yang active membuat backdoor biasanya memanfaatkan port yang asing dan terlupakan oleh sang admin. Kalau trojannya gunaain port yahoo atau mirc masuk akal juga sih, tapi bagaimana mekanisme pengintaian atau serangannya kalau port tersebut relatif sering digunakan aplikasi aslinya. memang benar hal ini mungkin bisa terjadi, namun dalam lan yang seharusnya jadi fokus titik ukur sekuritas jaringan, ya frontend network nya. Bantuin jawab ya, kebetulan di kantor pake mpls 2mb ke hk dan de. 1. afaik, ga dapet ip public-nya indosat. Mpls ini kan seperti vpn ip yang menghubungkan beberapa lokasi/negara, jadi kondisi di tempat kami hanya ip local saja. 2. keuntungannya mpls, wah banyak banget tergantung service apa yang akan dibangun. Bisa untuk voip antar negara, fax over ip, video converence, internet service, etc. 3. tergantung, biasanya mpls ini di request di satu point untuk beberapa titik negara. Kalo di negara yang request tersebut ingin dijadikan sebagai internet center tempat keluar masuknya service2 internet, maka local isp bisa saja diperlukan sebagai backup instead isdn. Tapi kalo policy internet tetap di negara masing2 maka perlu local isp. 4. ini sama seperti nomor 3, kalo ada policy ingin melakukan internet center di negara lain (group company), maka domain anda bisa di taro di dns mereka dan menggunakan ip public mereka. Hanya main ip forwarding ajah untuk incoming mails dan outgoing mails tinggal di relay ke mail server group company di negara tadi. Om Sudirman Express (yang naiknya dari depok - mungkin ;P) Saya masih kurang jelas dengan pertanyaan bapak, login script ini di perlukan karena di tempat saya user sering pindah-2 komputer dan beda lantai sehingga ketika pakai komputer user lain selalu maping folder dan ini merepotkan karena ada sekitar 14 san folder maksudnya, ketika bapak login di pc yang lain menggunakan userid bapak yang sebenarnya telah di set untuk auto map network drive tersebut bapak tidak mau semua networkdrive nya di maping ? Terus terang kondisional seting seperti itu belum pernah saya lakukan, namun menurut saya untuk melakukan auto map network drive dengan jumlah 14 folder pada saat login tidak terlalu merepotkan (memakan waktu lama) bila dilakukan dalam local network. --- pertanyaannya. 1. logon script nya di simpan di folder apa.? 2. mengaktifkannya apakah di profile seperti yang saya tulis di atas.? 3. bagaimana menggunakan command net use dengan domain.? ( contoh z://telkom.com/ z://telkom.com/keuangan keuangan) 1. Logon script tiap user bisa di simpan pada direktori mana saja, elama masih mudah untuk di manage. 2. Itu berlaku untuk single user, logon script bisa di terapkan di OU atau bahakan di DC ( bisa untuk banyak user sekaligus) 3. Nama domain memang bisa diakses dengan \\ seperti umumnya, namun yang bisa dibuka hanyalah folder share system seperti Netlogon, sysvol, printer, dsb, sedangkan untuk share folder yang kita buat tidak bisa diakses karena alasan security, sudah seharusnya anda menunjukan share path tersebut ke nama server bukan nama domain, atau mungkin bisa seperti ini; z://dc01.telkom.com/keuangan. Controllernya itu satu slot defaultnya 2 interface, umumnya MSA memang dikoneksiin ke dua server untuk tujuan sharing. sekarang ini yang saya tancapkan Cuma satu scsi interface, dengan syarat SSP(selective storage presentation) nya di enable. Sekarang sudah bisa dikonfigurasi setelah lebih dari 10 jam saya colokan powersupply –nya, ada masalaha lagi, maklum baru pake alat jadul ini :-), gimana cara mounting nya di 2003 ya ? Weks, kegedean ya :D… coba kali liat liat type yang di bawahnya, netlink atau InterLink… itu si Cuma recommend merk sebenernya.. kalo masalah bikin 3 titik saling berhubungan sih caranya mudah keq nya mas, routing aj.. Kalo ga punya router atau switch yang ga ada routing engine nya, tinggal pake routing engine dari linux. menurut gw saran si Mr.Philo itu kurang bagus, karena klo kita install windows xp terlebih dahulu maka bootloader xp itu sendiri akan hilang jika nantinya akan di install win 98. saran gw sebaiknya lo install dulu win 98, trus install win xp setelah itu baru lo install linux, dengan begitu maka tampilan terakhir atau boot loadernya punyanya si linux. lo tentunya harus membagi harddisk lo dengan beberapa partisi tentunya yach klo mau seperti itu minimalnya sich 3 partisi, 1 untuk win 98, 1 tuk win xp, 1 tuk linux itu sendiri. harddisk lo yach minimalnya 20 GB lah biar lebih leluasa. semoga membantu Rayn's - Yahoo!
