Sepertinya juragan Indra mo install winXP ya?or win NT series?kl mmg gtu biar ga perlu install software2 application lg, pilih 'upgrade' maka file system win98senya akan direplace/upgrade dgn file2 system baru, tanpa mengganggu file2 system yg sdh terinstall sebelumnya. Namun perlu diingat tdk semua aplikasi under win98se bisa kompetibel dgn winXP. Dan bila di pilih New install maka file system Win98se akan dipisah dari file system OS winXP or win NT, sebagai contoh saat boot akan kluar 2 pilihan (dual boot) apakah boot via win98SE or WinXP. Ada dua kemungkinan.. 1. CD Windows 2003 kamu ada file yang rusak 2. Masalah Hardware. Terutama hardisk ga boleh ada bad sector sama sekali, karena Win 2003 selektif sekali dengan hardware. Saya sudah coba 1. game ext .sis --- bagus, jalan. 2. game dengan folder system --- bagus, jalan ( masih ada yang kurang ). 3. game ext. blz --- tidak jalan. Berikut metode yang saya terapkan : NB : contoh game adalah FIFA 2005 dan ASPHALT 1. game FIFA dengan folder system, saya copy ke root folder MMC. Lalu saya coba mainkan, bagus, jalan. Lalu saya ingin menambah game ASPHALT. Saya coba copy folder system game ASPHALT ke root folder, tidak bisa, karena sebelumnya sudah ada folder dengan nama system ( game FIFA ). Saya coba ganti nama folder game ASPHALT, menjadi system_1 , tetap tidak bisa. 2. Di MMC, ada folder system/apps. Saya males install-nya. Lagian saya kurang tertarik sama software tsb. Masalahnya harganya yg lumayan mahal, pihak direksi atau manajemen perusahaan tempat saya bekerja pasti gak setuju. Sewaktu saya install Norton Ghost 9.0 untuk backup, pas mau memulai proses backup, muncul error. Padahal kompie dgn OS Win XP Pro tsb baru 3 bulan Fresh Install. Setelah saya kotak katik gak ketemu solusinya, akhirnya saya format quick partisi C tsb dan saya install ulang lagi Win XP Pro (clean install). Setelah saya install ulang OS dan semua aplikasi seperti MS Office, Adobe Photoshop CS, ACDSee, JetAudio, Virtual Drive, Nero Burning Rom 7.0, dll , lalu saya install Norton Ghost untuk proses backup, semuanya jadi lancar2 aja, padahal tadinya gak mau sama sekali. Padahal kompie tsb sudah saya cek dgn AntiVirus dgn Definition Update terbaru dan cek Spyware, ternyata bersih2 aja gak ada virus dan spyware yg bercokol di system. Begitulah yg namanya OS Windows, kadang2 suka terjadi hal2 yg menurut saya aneh.
