Hello,
I uploaded on Send Space Windows Mail folder from my previous Windows Vista
64 bitInstallation. You can copy paste this folder under program files and
run the Windows Mail executable file.I'm not sure if this works with a 32
bit Windows7. This is enough if you don't want to import settings or E-mails
from from Vista.

Here is the link fto download the Windows Mail foldder:

send you another E-mail showing how to do it. Thanks.

Use the basic profile, because the rich text profile lets in a lot
more banners.
If it does switch on you. When you firs click on email. Go to

want General, and then go to Interface. That will let you change back

[JAWS-Users] JAWS 10 64 bit

2010-01-10 Thread Chris Hallsworth

Hello all,
What has your experience been with JAWS 10 64 bit under either Vista or
7? I only got introduced to 64 bit, purely by accident, when i installed
the 64 bit version of Windows 7 RC and JAWS 11 was in public beta by
then. So you're talking September time.
Thanks for your thoughts as it seems people prefer the 32 bit version
when they use JAWS 10.

So basically the device drivers are installed without user intervension?
You see with Windows Vista and later drivers must be digitally signed

[JAWS-Users] WinAmp script issues (resolved yet)?

2010-01-10 Thread Keith Hinton
The subject says it all, other than the isues specifically.
This occurs in all versions of WinAmp with the 64-bit builds of JAWS
only. Why, I do not know. Also various text selection issues
(sometmies saying no text selected when it is) or failing to speak
when control-A is pressed in Skype while focussed on a chat edit box,
etc all appares to be in the 64-bit builds.
Now, the problimatic WinAmp scripts.
I did send an email to the Freedom Scientific technical support
department. Grant Douning told me the issue had been submitted to JAWS
developers.
I want to know if this has been resolved (because I cannot myself)
unless a Freedom Scientific scripter is willing to walk me through the
specific modifications off-list, etc. First problamatic script (I
previously mentioned this) and correct this. Control-shift-T elapsed
track time reports 0 minutes, 0 seconds, even when that is not the
case.
And control-JAWS key-T, for track length. Others such as
control-alt-C, for current track have not been tested by me personally
on a 64-bit OS.
Note: this issue has been present in all releases of JAWS (that are
64-bit builds only) ever sinse the inishial support back when Vista
64-bit was released,
Can any other users test this with the latest build of JAWS 11 on a
64-bit system and please go to www.whitestick.co.uk (to grab the
latest version)
At the time of this, the version effected is WinAmp version 5.x
current version in use that I'm testing is Winamp Version 5.5.7.2810
Although this has effected all other 5.X releases under the 64-bit
builds of JAWS.
I have not tested to see if JAWS 11, 0, 756, fixes this or not.
Thanks.
Regards, --Keith
P.s.
If someone did respond to this issue in the passed and I did not
notice, please contact me privately off-list.
No sense in repeating anything already mentioned, but it's ben a whiel
sinse I last posted. Thanks.

Yes, maybe so but that is not why it is not working for him. I use 10 with
win 7 just fine. I am guessing he has a windows 7 64 bit version but his
jaws is 32 bit.
That is why it tells him it won't run.

1. Use F6 to move focus to the status bar.

then press spacebar.
4. Press the escape key to return to the main document window.
5. use JAWS key with page down again and you should hear JAWS say "track
changes." If not then use F6 to the status bar and then use right arrow
across the bar to see if it is listed on the bar. If not then go back to
the application key and try checking the choice again.
6. Once the "track changes" choice is on the status bar then use
CTRL+shift+E to toggle between having track changes turned on or off. You
want it turned on for JAWS to announce changes.
7. Use JAWS key with V to bring up the verbosity dialog.
8. Press the letter T until the "track changes" item is in focus.
9. Press spacebar repeatedly to switch between the different levels of
information that JAWS speaks. The choices are combinations of type, author,
date and count.

Hi,

At the bottom of the Word window, you double click an icon that says TK.
It seems that when you add or delete text from the document, or change

text, the text is underlined and is different colour. When you delete,
they draw a dotted arrow pointing to where it was deleted from, and at
