Re: [JAWS-Users] Need to partition the C drive into two parts with thehelp of jaws
I must add that this demonstration assumes you are adept with using the JAWS cursor for clicking on items. I figured at the time I recorded it that if a person had the chops to partition a drive they should be able to handle a couple of mouse clicks. Over all though I believe the procedure is quite easy. I am using Win 7 professional registered version with jaws 14. So far I have tried through disk management, it is only shrinking the sise of the drive but not splitting this drive into two parts. And this disk management is giving predefined sise upto which it can be shrinked. Say for e.g. it is giving me 21755mb for shrinking which made my drive to 131gb from 153gb but didn't make new drive. More over I tried through AOMEI partition assistant pro edition, but it seems not compatible with jaws. Please help me to split my C drive into two parts, as I have 110GB free space on my C drive. -- Mohib Anwar Rafel 2009 - 2011 M.Phil, International Legal Studies, JNU. 2011 - 2013 LL.M, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. 2013 - Pursuing Ph.D in International Law, JNU Skype: mohibrafel Phone: 09811767506, 09211192333 For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

[JAWS-Users] start menu seems to hang after jaws 14 starts!
Hi list members, i'd like to know if anyone else has had this problem that after your computer starts and jaws 14 is loaded that your start menu seems to hang? I don't remember this problem happening until recently. I have not had anything done that I don't have done like using windows cleaner, Mc Cafee, Spybot, spyware. I usually use these tools to clean my system. I don't know of anything else that could be happening. Thank you for any information that you might have. Re: [JAWS-Users] Looking for spell checker.
Hi Jorge, Windows itself does not have a spell checker,, that is usually installed with a Microsoft Office product, and is used by other Microsoft applications. As for your second question, I don't think it will, but you should read the documentation that comes with it. Hi all, I clicked on the link for TinySpell and followed the prompts for the free download. When I tried to open it up after saving it then running it.I got a message that said it could not be opened. Hi The tutorial on Partition Assistant says that the home edition is free to use on 32 bit Windows. But it looks like the home edition has been replaced by a standard edition. The standard edition of Partition Assistant is free for both 32 bit and 64 bit versions of Windows. Hi, What is wrong with the spell checker of windows that jaws reads out to you? And another question to whoever reads this: If, a person DL's the link that was posted, will it interfere with the spell checker you are using now? With a simple key stroke, you can correct the error. Be careful when looking for the web site as I mentioned earlier, I got a nasty virus when I thought I was downloading the product, but it was a fake. Re: [JAWS-Users] headphones, Skype and win 8
I use Skype all the time. So if you just get a headset with a microphone that has usb connection all you would have to do is plug in the usb to your pc and it will automatically connect to Skype when you turn Skype on..You will not have to do anything else. He use to plug the headphones into the back of the soundcard. The set has two plugs plus a usb connection. I do not know my way around win 8 or Skype. can it be tailored to use this hardware? If so where do I look to make the changes. I installed the demo copy of jaws on his machine so only have about 30 minutes to make the changes. --- Please visit my web page It’s motivational, inspirational with a touch of humor There is also a very extensive resource list for the blind http://www.LennyMcHugh.com International Brotherhood of Magicians member #43990R For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

Would it be possible for you to send Tiny Spell Checker to the List? I think a lot of us would like to have it? If that is not possible, do you know how we can get it? Thank you very much! Hi all, I clicked on the link for TinySpell and followed the prompts for the free download. When I tried to open it up after saving it then running it.I got a message that said it could not be opened. I went in to Programs and Features and saw at least 3 programs that were added for today's date that I did not pick out. So, I uninstalled all of them including TinySpell. Is it normal to get additional programs when you try to download just one? p.s. I apologize for the possible edit field on my replies, but I do not know how to adjust the edit field to have longer or bigger lines. Hi Jorge, Windows itself does not have a spell checker,, that is usually installed with a Microsoft Office product, and is used by other Microsoft applications. As for your second question, I don't think it will, but you should read the documentation that comes with it.
