[JAWS-Users] regarding the reading pane in outlook 2007

2014-04-17 Thread Mick Du Buisson
Hi there,

Help needed or some advice on Microsoft Outlook 2007 and the reading pane.
Read an email today, which said the Reading pane should be at the bottom or
off in 2010 is that the same for 2007 as well? The other item is when I
put the deleted items in the deleted folder from the inbox, they don't seem
to appear in the deleted folder as before. Help needed.

[JAWS-Users] Microsoft Outlook 2007 And Multiple EMail Accounts

2014-04-17 Thread Hicks Steven (CORNWALL IT SERVICES)
Hi friends,

I have set up two IMAP accounts in Microsoft outlook 2007.
The first one which is my NHS account seems to work fine.
This one has been set up for a while
The second account is my Gmail account that I have just set up today.
When using ctrl+y to move through the folder list, I only seem to be able to
look at the folders in the first account, the NHS account.
How do I find the messages and folders etc for my Gmail account please?
Do I need to do something else other than just setting up the account to bring
them in to Microsoft outlook?

Many thanks in anticipation for any help that anyone can give.

I successfully use Jaws 14 with Yahoo Mail on my Laptop and PC.
The trick is to use Yahoo Mobile Mail, not the full-blown version.

Try the same trick on moderating Yahoo groups.

Re: [JAWS-Users] The new Thunderbird for the Blind List?

2014-04-17 Thread Erik Heil
 Hello everyone,
I was wondering why you would need such a list. If the application is
accessible, there is no reason why you need a list such as this. I can't
speak to whether it is accessible under Windows, as I don't use that
platform that much, but I can say tht is accessible under Gnome and Linux.
So, in my opinion, if the application follows the standard GUI accessbility
requirements for the given platform, their is no reason why it can't be
accesible and hence you won't need suchb a list like that. Now, on the
other hand, if accessibility is still a work-in-progress, and it is still
being developed, this is an entierely different story, and maybe this
should be moved to a more appropriate, developer-specific list. Anyways,
just my two-sense. So, if you don't aggree, this isn't a problem for me at
all. We are all entitiled to our opnions, and their is none which is wrong.

I would say the Keynote Gold, but since they don't make that anymore, it
won't do you any good. That is unless you can find a used one. I had one
for many years but it gave up the ghost a few years back. It used a
serial port. You say the Dectalk USB sits there, is it not talking at
all? Or does it work intermittently? More details would be helpful.

Well, in particular, I'm wondering if there are any JAWS scripts available
for use with TB (or if any are in development), and where to obtain them. TB
is accessible; but it would be much more conveniently so with some
supportive scripts.
