Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws 18 great improvement
Hello Lenny and all: I am also enjoying JAWS 18 quite a bit. I downloaded and installed all the Virtualizer Expressive Version 2 voices, both compact and premium, in English and Spanish languages and was very pleseantly surprised; not only are they very good, but are also very responsive, very quick. I think I will finally move away from Eloquence for Jaws speech. I think it's fairly clear from the release notes that VFO don't list all of the bugs that have been fixed. I'm glad that yours has been addressed. Re: [JAWS-Users] Problems With Selecting, Copying, And Pasting e-mail message content In Outlook 2016
Microsoft Outlook by default sends messages as HTML. You can also send them as plain text or as Rich Text (I assume that's RTF format, but I haven't investigated it, since HTML is what is now recommended and the Rich Text option is obsolete). I work in an environment where the features of Microsoft Outlook are used extensively, especially the calendar integration, but also the HTML message format. Somehow or other, Notepad eliminates the tables without changing the sequence of text. In paste special, to ensure the added material conforms to the document's text, you want to choose "unformatted text." -Original Message- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:jaws-users-list-boun...@jaws-users.com] On Behalf Of Jason White Sent: Saturday, November 12, 2016 3:15 PM To: jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Problems With Selecting, Copying, And Pasting e-mail message content In Outlook 2016 The table format is very likely to be your problem, as you have to be very careful with what you select, and the table structure may not be preserved when pasted.
