[JAWS-Users] names not being recognized after being filled in, in the BCC field in WLM
Hi folks, When composing a new email in WLM, I start by entering the name of the recipient in the “To” field and then, after filling in multiple names in the BCC field and pressing control+enter to send the email, it brings up the , “check names box”. Then, one by one, it says “no match can be found for any of the names that I just put in. It goes on to say, “ check the contact list to make sure that the information is correct and try again. I have checked every single name and email address in my list and they are all correct in their entirety. What is more odd, is that if I only enter one name at a time in the BCC field, it recognizes it fine and even repeats the name and email address! Please, any suggestions or feedback would help a great deal. Thanks Marie J For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
[JAWS-Users] uninstalling the windows 10 update
Hi all, For those “nervous nellies” like myself, that don’t want to take a chance on having windows 10 install automatically, for some awful unforsaken reason.. lol.. not that it will, but with my luck, when it comes to technology I don’t leave anything to chance!! So, press the windows key and bring up the search box in the start menu and to uninstall the new windows 10 update put WUSA /UNINSTALL /KB:3035583 in the box, hit enter and follow prompt. This was the general consensus recommendation anyway that I got off several different pages by typing in “I don’t want windows 10”, in a google search. I did it and seriously hope that it was good advice!! Don’t want to lead anyone astray, so if you do know otherwise, please pass the word back. Many thanks Marie For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/

If you're using either Outlook or Windows Live Mail, this is actually easy to fix. When you're in your message list, press the applications key on the message that is not junk. Arrow down to the junk email submenu or just press the letter J. You then have some options. I typically just use the mark as not junk option. This puts the message in my inbox and will route all future messages from that sender into the inbox. Unfortunately, it won't move the ones that are already in the junk folder, so you'll have to do this for every message that's currently there. [JAWS-Users] contacts vs. address book?
Hello all, In Outlook 2010, what is the difference between the contact list and the address book? I ask because sometimes when I go to create a new email, the auto fill in does not come up with a name. When I look into my contact list, the person may be there and again sometimes not. Now, when I open mmy address book, there are folks there that are not listed in my contact list and vice versa! Sorry, hope this isn’t too confusing and I am stating it clearly. I did google it to find out the difference but only came up with a bunch of mumbo jumbo that may as well have been greek!! I'm not sure if that is one of the sources of the problem, but I did uninstall it and then reinstall it and that did the trick. At least the JAWS search command is showing up in my list of managers now. Having said that, I still need to call them as my OCR is definitely not reading PDF's. When I press space bar and insert and then the letter O, all is good until I press the letter D, and then it says "OCR" has failed to start. Maybe I am doing it wrong. Re: [JAWS-Users] Jaws OCR problem
Thanks Mike, you are always a great help! I will call them as you suggest because now that I try to use other new features in 16 such as the JAWS Command Search, I find that it does not work either and is not even in my list of JAWS MANAGERS. Keep smiling. Marie J -Original Message- From: Mike B. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Take care.
