The reason I use itunes file sharing, I transfer zip files that are each 650mb in size. Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws and itunes support
Hi, I've seen nothing in writing that would indicate such and would find such an assertion suspect in the highest degree as it doesn't seem like it's serve its maker's purpose to even state such a thing if indeed they even had. Just my two cents no one asked for. Speaking of JFW and iTunes I made Apple Accessibility aware of a bug whereby when syncing something like music or ringtones if you choose sync selected tracks or tones screen readers are unable to read the resulting list view from which you can check your selections. If others are so inclined feel free to join in drawing Apple's attention to it in hopes it can be fixed as they acknowledge it's their issue not one lain at the feet of screen readers. [JAWS-Users] JAWS and Itunes.
Hello listmembers, I may have presented this issue in a past post. Within the past few days, I am no longer able to move songs around in recently created Itunes playlists. Prior to this I used a command, (I believe Control-L) (right arrow once and then down-arrow one time to songs, removing the Artwork image. At this point, I would be able to move songs around. An alternative is to copy the songs into a blank playlist, though having a short-cut command per the above process) is handier than having to go through this copy-paste step. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Best, Justin All For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
[JAWS-Users] Jaws and itunes issue.
Hello Listmembers: Up until a week or so ago, the music tab (that is my entire song archives in Itunes was at the top of a treeview. To move to Playlists, I arrowed down to its position in the treeview. Now, in order to do this, I tab about 25 times to Playlists. Also, on a related note, my general song titles are listed under My Music, whereas until recently songs were listed under Music. This may be the source of the issue, where there is a specific prompt or keystroke to have my overall song titles re-grouped under Music. I'm not sure that I've explained this issue adequately enough. Nonetheless, any help would be appreciated. Can I search for a rington or a song, etc via itunes, or do I need to use the app store, download it there and then sync it, which wouldn't make sense. I guess using itunes, instead of using the app store, can I just do it through itunes, if so, how? I remember the itunes keystrokes briefly that someone posted a while back, CTRL 1 etc, but I no longer have them notes. So, to answer my own question, would I need to go to the itune store? If so, how do I get there is it CTRL 2? Jaws doesn't say nothing for me, when pressing CTRL 2. Success is the result of perfection, hard work, learning from failure, loyalty and persistence. I am finding that I still have problems with jaws and this latest version of iTunes which is suppose to be fixed. When jaws is on iTunes gives a error message after 5 minutes causing iTunes to close. This does not happen when NVDA IS running. I was updating my itunes match with nvda as soon as I switched to jaws I got the message stating iTunes had to close. - Original Message - From: Kimsan kimsans...@gmail.com To: jaws-users jaws-users-list@jaws-users.com Sent: Tuesday, February 17, 2015 5:35 PM Subject: [JAWS-Users] jaws and itunes Hi! I think most of it still applies. Give the commands a try as you are going through the tutorial, there may be very slight deviations, but I don't think anything too significant. Good luck. Re: [JAWS-Users] JAWS an ITunes
John, You just frightened me since I use Itunes regularly. I opened it and it's working fine here so that's at least enough info to confirm that the problem is a local one. Recently, I did have a similar problem with the last build of Jaws and Word documents. If you have time, I'd contact Freedom Technical Support immediately. Obviously, something isn't right. If you don't get satisfaction from the first person you talked to, request level 2 support. Did notice the virtual window not closing and reading things not even on screen. Hope version 13 is a lot better than this one. you can tell because of all the patches just for stuff that should of ben done before production. Don't they have bait a testers or just a couple of computers in the corner with left over useless hardware on them. Because the ball is dropped for sure! [JAWS-Users] jaws and ITunes
I never thought I would use this but I have come upon some free content I am intersted in that requires ITunes to be installed on the computer to download and, I guess, access the content. I know that there are commercial jaws scripts for ITunes available but I do not see myself using ITunes a whole lot and certainly not enough to warrant purchase of scripts. There used to be free scripts for ITunes avaialble but the page gives a 404 File not found error. I am out of the loop with this some and would like to know if ITunes has become more accessible with jaws by now or if there are any free resources and/or hints to use ITunes with jaws without the aforementioned commercial scripts. Also, which version of ITunes is the most accessible and which will work with the free scripts if still applicable. Thanks very much. Doris Pray, pray, pray! - Pray without ceasing. Re: [JAWS-Users] jaws and ITunes
Hi, you might as well download the J-Tunes scripts anyway and just run them in 10 minute mode. That's what I would do if I find myself in a situation where, although I have iTunes on my laptop, I wouldn't use it enough to warrant purchase of the scripts. Also, even if you did go beyond the demo period, you can still use the scripts, but you'll be constantly nagged until you, as I discovered by accident, restart JAWS, even though the documentation states that a reboot of the computer is necessary. Hope this helps. Chris Doris wrote: I never thought I would use this but I have come upon some free content I am intersted in that requires ITunes to be installed on the computer to download and, I guess, access the content.
