Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem with iTunes

2015-12-11 Thread Trish
you might have to do a restore . I had to do that once on my iPhone 6.
I did it through iTunes not via the cloud, just a matter of preference.
I recently had a similar issue, my apps on my phone were not showing on another
computer not connected to Jaws or windows. but I had to use the window’s system
to backup all the apps to a flash drive, then I had to move those apps and it’s
folder into iTunes folder into where it says put media here or something along
those lines. it worked cause the apps are now showing on both systems.
I’m not suggesting you have to do that here, but if tunes is not recognizing
your phone, you may have to restore it.

Re: [JAWS-Users] Problem with iTunes

2015-12-11 Thread Kimber Gardner
I had this problem after updating my iPhone to iOS9.

What version of iTunes are you running on your computer? If your issue
is the same as mine, you may need to update iTunes. Even though my
laptop said I was running the latest version of iTunes, that wasn't
true. I had to go to the following link and download iTunes 12.3. Once
I did that and installed iTunes, the problem went away.

https://support.apple.com/downloads/itunes

I hope this helps.

a correction on something i said here. i meant to type, look for the “apply”
button and not say look for “apple” button.
I have had to restore my phone, it’s no big deal, just follow the prompts,
apple will do the rest. don’t panic when your phone stops talking, it will come
back again when apple is finished updating/restoring.
i hate that part myself, and try not to bite off my nails till vo comes
back,grins
you can also make back ups of your phone either through the cloud or via your
computer. i choose to go that route, so make sure in i tunes, one of those must
be checked however you wish to backup your phone.
you can locate a recent backup going through file menu right there in i tunes.
jaws does pretty good job reading i tunes now with 16 at least.
i know how frustrating i tunes can be, it took me a long time to learn how to
use it affectively both on my window’s 7 laptop and now on my Mac.

iOS, Apple requires you to run the latest version of iTunes.
