This may explain why I can use mine as last year, in Jan of 2014 I updated and bought Vipre for two years, so I am not downloading anything new right now. What a shame, but at least they are working on it, which is more than I can say for Norton, who obviously doesn't care. Back on January 6, I emailed Roger and asked about the status of VIPRE 2015 and if it was okay to continue using 2014 instead of upgrading to 2015. my concern was if 2014 would still accept AV definitions even though I did not opt to upgrade to 2015, will the defs still work: They are still working on the issue, and I have spoken to their support lead person, and he assures me that they are working on it, they have jaws on their programming computer to test for accessibility and they will keep me updated, but in terms of definitions, have no fear, all is well Roger R. My wife noticed that vipre antivirus software has a neat feature for the sighted community. When doing a google or duckduckgo search all safe sites have a green check mark and a red mark for unsafe sites. I tried to find those with jaws and so far am having no luck. It would be nice if I could have jaws tell me before I would click on one. I was curious. I don't remember as I have not used viper in 44 for evers, but when scanning using viper, doesn't jaws like speak constantly? At least that is what I remember. I think it does if like in MS E you focus Jaws on the progress bar. I've tried it because HSN talks about how it's so strong that even the always painted as Darth Vader IRS uses it. Suriously, not to get into government alk here but that's what everyone paints them as when you listen to the discriptions of them. It's essentially Aniken. So I figgured, if it's so strong, well then,, let me give it a try. It was cool. Hi Again Judy, You can download either of Vipre's suites try them for a free 30 day trial period to take them for a test drive. To get a download authorization email from Vipre, you'll need to solve an audio captcha. Listen very close, it's doable. The captcha kind of sounds like me after too much time on the iBarstool! Yes I started using viper and am on the trial I have found that the Microsoft product crashed my computer don't know why since both computers have the same thing on them.
