Watched that in Altea, with a p*ss taking Blade - it was all I could do not to
get arrested on the second day of our hols! Shuffled out thinking what a sh*te
way to start the holiday, and resolved never to watch again when abroad.
Haven't stuck to that though, which has been a big mistake too!

We're due a result against Watford though :-)

We played them in the league cup when we went down and they went up back in
the 80s.

They beat us 4 nil and apart from the successive kick offs we never touched
the ball. It could have been ten, and the difference in class was so great
that I don't remember them once resorting to Graham Taylor's famous long
ball..

Glad you can make it (will go myself if they shift it from Saturday though I
cannot see TV wanting it) but I think us winning is wishful thinking - a
middling Prem team who are safe from relegation, have no chance of Europe , so
will be putting out a full and motivated team against us. Many of whom will
have played in our Division so  will not be complacent either.
As no hope / underdog players like to say on such occasions ' it is 11 v 11 on
the day' and 'we would not go if we did not think we had a chance of winning'
etc - so yes, it is not a foregone conclusion, and our away form is decent but
I will not be putting any money on us going through (great recent results at
Scum, Arsenal and Spurs notwithstanding)
