2022-11-09 Thread 'Curt George' via Legacy Ornamental Mills
 Welcome back JOE!
We have missed hearing form you.
YES the EVO was a awesome machine, (Despite all that was already said.) I think
the Robin was even a better machine, (but it was a proto type only.)
The Name of the Game in life is to make a profit, So you can live and grow.
Legacy made its decision on how they wanted there company go.  I have no
problems with what they did.  Despite not liking it.
I am still hoping that One day, Legacy or someone else can/will pick up the
manual line for Ornamental Mills again, even on a much smaller scale.I still
have my HOPES and DREAMS. (we will see?) ;-)
Again Welcome back Joe.Looking forward to talking to you more latter.
Take care.

Yeah and you should hear the commotion when a flock fly's over and you have
tall trees. They have a hard
time perching so usually they ground land and come to a rolling stop about
50 yards from where they touch (crash)
down. that actually helps keep the meat tender too.

Bill,

In case you don't know: The University of South Carolina spent megabuck$ on
genetic research on pigs; necessary because the S. Carolina's State Protein is
pork. They LOVE their slow-cooked/smoked southen-style BBQ. The realized that
pigs grow faster and remain fairly lean when they live in more mild temps. To
get the most growth from a pig in shortest time, they wee able to produce a
bloodline that could fly. The idea being they could live up north in the US
Summer and migrate back to S. Carolina over the winter.

So far, it has been going very well.

What you saw in the photo is one of the early youth that is practicing flight -
and will migrate south in a few days to the Anderson, SC area.

I see several messages about an "Evolution" Legacy Mill. I own what the manual
calls a "REVO" legacy mill, which the fine print spells out as short for "...a
revolutionary new design."

So am I missing something here?

Re: Name question

2022-11-06 Thread M.W.Foscue
Bill,
In case you don't know: The University of South Carolina spent megabuck$ on
genetic research on pigs; necessary because the S.

In my opinion the main reason Evolution Mill didn’t sell was there was no
extras for it and none of the regular ones fitted it

accept for the 2x and .25 gear sets. I know that was the reason I went with the
revo over the Evolution Mill

and I was not a fan of a plastic gear linkage .

but those linier rails would have been great for template copying work if the
Evolution had that capability.

I would like to know if it came with a user manual and if it did I sure would
like a copy of it to see what that mill can do
