Re: [LegacyUG] Longitude and Latitude--Legacy vs Virtual Earth (CORRECTION)

2008-07-28 Thread Cathy Vallevieni

Richard & Keith:

Oh, got it (didn't have the "Show Map" box checked)e. Cool!

By the way, it works in "Aerial" view which is great because you can
see the structures to know where to click.

Boy, this will be easier than manually changing them.

Now, how to know which dwelling when you aren't familiar with the
area? That's for another day and time to figure out!

Thanks everyone!

Hope this thread helps everyone that is working with exact addresses
and wants to map them and have them show in all reports.

The right click only work on the Master Location List to reposition
and reset Lat/Long. If you are on a map from the individual family
view - click RESOLVE to get to Master Location. That may be the

Sounds like a great trick rather than having to determine the correct
long/lat in Virtual Earth (or by guessing) then manually entering
them in the Master Location List "Edit" function. However, when I
right clicked, it just moved the page around just like when I left

Does Legacy require three places for longitude degrees? If so place
a zero before the 85.

Edition). When I tried to edit the current general city location in Legacy
from a general Longitude/Latitude for the city to a specific
Longitude/Latitude for the address, Legacy gave me an error message "The
