BibTeX Parser: Unexpected end of file.
Hi all, I'm using Lyx 2.0.0 (Ubuntu package). When trying to insert a citation in my document, I get the error message "BibTeX Parser: Unexpected end of file." And indeed, part of my bibtex file is not available in Lyx. How can I get more info about what the problem is (e.g., a line number)? It's a 2.2MB .bib file which works fine with Bibtex and Pybliographer, so it's quite hard to find out what the problem is. I tried enabling debug output, but did not get more useful information. thanks, Tom

Sans-serif math font
Hi folks. I want to change the font in Math environment to Sans-serif, but when I change the Font Default Family in a document (thru Document > Settings... > Fonts) the font used in Math environment is not changed. Currently, is there a way to change the Math font to Sans-serif in LyX? I know that I can do that including \usepackage{sfmath} to the preamble, but I want to know if something similiar can be done using LyX User Interface, without ERT. Cheers, --- Diego Queiroz
Re: LyX2.0 and Sweave - No Output
I believe "Environment Schunk undefined" means LaTeX cannot find Sweave.sty, which is part of R. Since you are using MikTeX, you can easily add the texmf tree (find it using R code R.home('share')) to MikTeX (using the menu Setting in the start menu or something -- I do not remember exactly). We have solved this headache that tons of users have run into in LyX 2.0.1, but currently there is no official release for Windows yet. LyX2.0 and Sweave - No Output
Hi, User's List... I'm a new-ish LyX user, otherwise naive to LaTeX. After about 10 hours of frustration, I got LyX to successfully open the Sweave module, and allow me to format text as a Sweave chunk. I'm using LyX 2.0.0, R 2.13.0 (64-bit), MikTeX 2.9, Windows 7 (64-bit). reverse search sumatra xetex...maybe I am almost there...
I may be almost there. Any pointers would be appreciated... as far as I can see, these are the key parameter locations documents>settings>output my default output format is pdf(xetex) I have synchronize with output set to: \synctex=-1 in Tools>Preferences>Output For forward search, I don't know what the default is. I may have messed it up... I tried Forward search set to: CMCDDE SUMATRA control [ForwardSearch(\"$$o\",\"$$t\",$$n,0,0,1)] or CMCDDE SUMATRA control [ForwardSearch(\\\"$$o\\\",\\\"$$t\\\",$$n,0,0,1)] per http://www.mail-archive.com/lyx-devel@lists.lyx.org/msg159513.html to no avail. I then discovered that I needed to install separately CMCDDE to use this. I downloaded it, and unzipped to get to cmcdde.exe. No installation instructions, so I put it in my lyx/bin folder, but I feel this is wrong, just wrong. Anyhow, it opened sumatra, but told me it couldn't open the file. Because it was trying to open the file from lyx's bin folder. So I tried this, which mentions that: http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.editors.lyx.devel/135713 (installing lyxeditor.exe and putting sumatra.bat in Tools>settings>output>file formats for pdf(xetex) as described in the article). It opened sumatra, and put "lyxeditor.exe %f %l" into the inverse search command line. but double clicking was inoperative. it is installed in my sumatra program folder... I tried this too, which seems very similar to the above...instead using a cmd file: http://wiki.lyx.org/LyX/SyncTeX even though it sounded complicated and it requires pdfsync which I read is deprecated now. I get the same lyx/bin folder problem as above. HELP.
Cross-reference in equation in lyx 2
Hello, In LyX pre-2.0 I was able to put a cross-reference to an equation inside a formula, so that it would look something like in this image: http://www.latex-community.org/forum/download/file.php?id=4130 If I try to do this in LyX 2.0 the reference ends up immediately above the formula, but outside of it. Does anyone know how to put cross-references in formulas in 2.0? Best Regards, David

The log file is supposed to have a line such as \openout3 = `Minimalbeispiel.bcf'. Can you check if such a line is there? If not, the bcf file is not added to LyX's dependency tracker and thus biber is not issued. Maybe it's a MikTeX thing not to output this line (\openout security setting). If so, we will need a different check. To those who see the problem and can compile: Could you check if the following fixes the issue?
