Re: Springer Natura template
I don't really know how to create a suitable layout for the sn-jnl class. Generally, I use the template article or ams article to write articles, but in this case, they are asking me to use the class sn-jnl. I have also tried importing the sn-article.tex example file into a Lyx file, but it seems that Lyx cannot import it (I am attaching a screenshot). Springer Natura template
Dear community, Many thanks for the new release of LyX. I have been using it extensively and without any problems. I am currently writing an article for a Springer journal and I am required to use the Springer Nature LaTeX class. Is there a LyX template available for this class? I have tried to create a layout for this class but I have not been successful. I would be very grateful if someone has a layout for this class and would like to share it. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards Sergio -- lyx-users mailing list lyx-users@lists.lyx.org http://lists.lyx.org/mailman/listinfo/lyx-users

Re: [ANNOUNCE] LyX 2.3.3
I also have installed versions 2.31 and 2.3.2, but the installation directories are different from those offered by the installer. I don't know if this is necessary, but I think that at some point I had problems with the installation and I could solve it by changing the default directories. Thank you so much for the help. I installed the previous version again. problema with the instalation of Lyx 2.3.1 in Windows 10
Hi I have serious problems with the instalation of new version 2.3.1 of Lyx in Windows 10. I have been using version 2.3, with the latest installer made by Uwe (LyX-230-Installer-6), without any problem. I decided to install version 2.3.1 with the official installer (LyX-231-Installer-2). It seems to install correctly, but when the installation is finished it is impossible to start the program. I have done several tests. I uninstall all Lyx versions (2.2.3 and 2.3), I reinstall Lyx 2.3.1, but again the program does not want to start. The same problem occurs with the official installer of version 2.3. But curiously, with Uwe's version I don't have this problem. ' As last I decided to restore the system and install everything again. But again 2.3.1 does not boot after a clean installation. Finally, I decided to go back to version 2.3 with the Uwe installer (LyX-230-Installer-6). This version works correctly. I have Windows 10 pro, installed on an Asus computer, System Model UX490UAR. I would appreciate any help. Sergio

Hi I have a Macbook Air, recently purchased. I am totally newbie, I've always used computers with windows. I have installed Lyx and MacTeX and without difficulty. But I can not fix some of the toolbars. Every time I leave fixed a toolbar (for example, the Font toolbar, or the Arrows, etc)), I close the program and go back to run and the toolbar disappears, and returns to the standard toolbar. In Windows I never had this problem. Would appreciate any help Sergio

You can also use biblabel for other settings. Francesco Thank Francesco, but this not solve the problem because the bibliography is not numbered. If I export to LaTeX file, open it with Scientific workplace andgenerate the PDF, the bibliography is correct. Sergio

configuration of modified toolbars
Hello users I modified the original stdtoolbars.inc of LyX 1.6.5. according to my needs. 1. I added two new toolbars calledLetras griegas y otras and Sets and Logic. But in a computer with linux or with windows when I select these two new toolbar nothing happens in Lyx. With LyX 2.0 (alpha) there exists the same problem, nothing happens in Lyx screen. 2. So, if I modified also the file default.ui and I add at the end the two new lines: Toolbars standard on,top view/update on,top extra on,top, samerow review auto, review, top vcs off,top table auto, table, bottom math_panels auto, math, bottom math auto, math, bottom mathmacrotemplate auto, mathmacrotemplate, bottom minibuffer off, bottom setandlogic on,bottom Letrasgriegasyotras on,bottom Then, in this case appear now correctly on the screen the new two toobars. This is correct ? It is necessary to modified the two files ? Thanks sergio

Dear LyX user There is any chance of having a Customizable Symbol toolbar in future versions of LyX ?. In this panel could be added buttons with the most frequently used symbols. Actually, with some text editor it is possible to construct a panel with particular symbols, but this method is not good for beginer in LyX. Thanks sergio

change latex export
Hi I new user of Lyx.Before I used Scientific Workplace. I would like to change the way as Lyx export some latex files. For example, take the ams article. When Lyx export to latex put \newtheorem{thm}{Theorem} \newtheorem{cor}[thm]{Corollary} but I would like \newtheorem{theorem}{Theorem}[section] \newtheorem{corollary}[theorem]{Corollary} Where I can change these parameters ? thanks in advance Cordially sergio

varias dudas
Hola Estoy comenzando a utilizar Lyx LyX 1.6 en Windows Xp con Miktex. Les comento mis problemas de principiante. 1.
