I hope this helps narrow down the problem. I can send you some test
messages if you want them.

Thanks for the additional details. I did have time to look into it
earlier today and I believe I also found the bug, but I did not have
time to make a new test version. My main concern is that I'm not quite
sure the bug explains the problem with “Unquoted Body Text”. If it
still doesn't work (and I cannot reproduce it) then test messages are
going to be welcome.

My concern turned out to also be important. This was related to another
bug and I found a third one as well (not a serious one though). Please
try the latest test version to see if it works for you.

The email addresses are taken from your Sent Messages mailbox (and from
Contacts). You can move messages with invalid email addresses elsewhere or
you can change which mailbox MailMate uses for completing email addresses:

 defaults write com.freron.MailMate MmAddressCompletionMailbox -string
 8F9C1062-E4F8-4949-B5DC-BAB7CDEC4110

The value provided should be the UUID of a mailbox (obtained using Edit ▸
 Copy after selecting a mailbox).

When I copy a normal mailbox, the value is a string beginning with
imap://, not a UUID like that above. Does this method only work with
non-standard smart folders?

Turned out that it was not a new bug. It was an old bug which was more
likely to be a serious problem after my recent changes. Please try the
latest test release (r5066) and see if it works for you now.

[MlMt] second try: 5065 fails on launch with segmentation error

2015-02-23 Thread Helen Holzgrafe

Hi,

I just sent a message about this, but it's being held due to its size (I
copied the whole Apple error log into it). I have had to revert to 1.8
because it's the only other one still on my machine.

How can I revert to 5063 again? How can I send the Apple crash log
contents since it's so huge?

[MlMt] How to save messages in Evernote?

2015-02-23 Thread Harvey Leff
I used to be able to send a copy of a message to Evernote via a simple
click in the Command menu. This option evidently was removed at some
point, and is not present in v. 5060. How can I get it back? Thanks.

Mike,

Thanks! That helps a lot.

Benny,

The message with the crash contents is being held by your mailing list
software for moderator approval, so you should be able to see it even
if it never gets published to the mailing list.

I'm using 5060, and I have the Evernote bundle in the Command menu.
Maybe your preferences (MailMate Preferences Bundles) got messed up
somehow.

The behavior of the Evernote commands is another story.

^e switches to Evernote without doing anything.
^E adds a new note with the title of the current message and (null) as
the body.
Clicking Command Evernote Add With Summary adds a new note with
title and body.

Clicking Command Evernote Add works the same as ^E.

I'll check it and the crash reports I've received. So far it seems to be
only you out of ~20 downloads, but I'll pull the update if it seems to
be a general issue for users. Sorry about the inconvenience.

[MlMt] Evernote bundle problem

2015-02-23 Thread John Cooper
When I try to save a message to Evernote using the Add command
(ctrl+shift+E), the note has the title of the message, but a body of
(null).

It looks as if Add with Summary does what I want, saving the entire
message, but I would have expected Add to do this. I'm not sure what
Summary means, but I had guessed it has something to do with Apple's
summarized text feature.

[MlMt] Correspondent column shows wrong name

2015-02-23 Thread Shoshanna Green
I just saw this (under r5063): Fred sent an email to Wilma, and also
cc:ed me and Barney. I'd expect the name shown in my Correspondent
column to be Fred, since he's the person writing to me (and others), but
instead it's Wilma. But Wilma isn't my correspondent; she hasn't said
anything to me, nor I to her.

Re: [MlMt] get sub folder pr unique id in subject?

2015-02-23 Thread Max Rydahl Andersen
I fixed one part - using Subject as the unique value - but haven't been
able to get the name format to do anything but showing the full subject
now :/

/max

Hi,

Not sure I asked about this before but here it goes.

I'm trying to create a subfolder pr a unique pattern in subject.

our issue tracker sends out mails of the form

[JBIDE-234234] some title

I use this: ${subject/.*JBIDE-(.*))/JBIDE-$1/} to use as the folder
name.

But it ends up to be duplicating and having full names instead of just
the JBIDE part.

![](cid:DD65A740-3A80-4E7E-A810-D80C983B0F1E@gmail.com
PastedImage.png)

In this case IRURE = JBIDE from the example above.

notice how the folder for IRURE-16970 contains many more.

what can I do to make it unique pr this id in subject ?
