Out of curiosity :  did you compile it yourself or install a rpm ?
As far as I can see, there's only rpms for RedHat ?

James' suggestion of increasing the memory available to OOo (in Options, I

Thanks folks. I have removed oooq but I still have the problem. I uninstalled, 
deleted the settings and reinstalled and I still have the problem. I'm 
stumped.

OpenOffice will no longer run since I installed the quickstart program via 
urpm. Running any of the OO apps from the command line results in a Segfault. 

Uninstalling it did not help. I removed the entire OO package / libs and 
reinstalled to no effect. Can anyone help?
