Re: [Oorexx-devel] Windows Installers

2022-04-17 Thread P.O. Jonsson
The Windows 8 builds listed are from 20 hrs ago (the ones that I deleted
manually), with time these messages will be pushed down and eventually go away.
I do not know of a way to erase these messages on Sourceforge. Since there are
no additional Win builds uploaded anymore this will heal itself with time. Just
make a few commits and the problem goes away ;-)

Re: [Oorexx-devel] Windows Installers

2022-04-16 Thread P.O. Jonsson
These are old builds that were still in the upload dir I guess, I forgot to
delete them. Will fix it tomorrow first thing. Sorry.

FYI We will continue to build on W7/8.1/10, it is just the upload that has been
disabled. Should you ever need to use a dedicated copy they are available on
Jenkins for download.

Re: [Oorexx-devel] Windows Installers

I just noticed a new series of builds have been uploaded and they still
seem to contain the redundant installers for Windows.  Did the disable
not work?

Mike's solution works because he only has to worry about a single
executable. In the ooRexx case, we would need to insert this logic
into both rexx.exe and rexxhide.exe, and have the logic to handle
every single one of the binary artifacts of a release, including
multiple dlls and the rexx.img binary image. Not really practical.

Re: [Oorexx-devel] Windows Installers

2022-04-12 Thread Mike Cowlishaw
Guess I don't follow. If the installer is currently one of two .exe files
my suggestion should work fine ... the stub would write one or other of
those to disk and then invoke it. Nothing in those .exes needs to change?
