[otrs] Help needed
Hi Can anybody let me know how to generate a report in OTRS ? My requirement is to generate a report of all the open tickets across all the queues. I clicked Stat module and I tried by creating a new report . After its done, it just shows me the template but I could not see any data in it. Though I select CSV or Print format, I could not see any data in it. Please help. Hello, Winter. You can achive that by setting up 4 queues and setting the correct queue addresses for each of them. The email in From: is determined by the queue the ticket is in. How do you associate customers to domains? Do you have a particular field in the customer database? You can use GenericAgent to move tickets to the correct queue based on this information in the customer database and close the tickets there. Hello, I have a question in OTRS Notification Event. Basically I have setup a Notification Event to send an email response to the customer when ever a ticket is completed and closed by the system. My company has about 4 domains which are setup with OTRS. Essentially, when any customer's ticket in these 4 domains is closed, it should send a notification to the customer and specify that particular domain to which the customer is associated with. So, my question here is how do I embed domain name in the notification event text so that the customer receives a response to contact that particular domain to which he is associated with. Hi Arpit, Nils, Actually this is quite a common configuration. There's one thing to keep in mind, though; since MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server are quite different types of databases, Microsoft is transactional and MySQL is not by default, performance on MySQL would be a magnitude of x faster than Microsoft SQL Server. But, in most setups, database performance is not the bottleneck. And if you have really experienced Microsoft SQL Server administrators in your shop (as well as enough of those expensive licenses) then I can understand the reason to choose Microsoft SQL Server over MySQL. HI, It seems that you just need to modify your notification body. Menu notifications, choose language::Customer::Stateupdate then put whatever you want in the body replacing the default OTRS_* keys. Hi guys Does anybody know why when a customer creates a new ticket the initial owner of the ticket is the main admin [EMAIL PROTECTED] Maybe some of my notification related problems come out of this thing. Does anybody know how to configure the otrs so that initial owner is not the [EMAIL PROTECTED] but the user that is responsible for queue the ticket sent to? Dear Friends, I am planning to added the Location Teams options in OTRS. So that in the big orginsations,many branchs can be easy reported to one agent. I need the following help: 1. Where to be added the output for displaying the Location Teams option ? 2. Which String or Variable ( in which programs ) show the displaying other options like searching the mail id ? 3. Which Code has the details about the adding options ? Example : Queue, etc ... I am working in OTRS for the past one month I am able to change the codes as per my requirements.
