hi. You first have to burn the images to a cd. then you can treat the files as normal. At 02:50 PM 3/31/2005, you wrote: Hi. Try going to control panel and clicking "nero image drive". Hi Gordon. Well I use Soundforge. I haven't tried cutting the sampling rate. I've only used the pitch shift function. That seems to work well for me. I don't use Audition, so maybe someone who uses it might be of more help. I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. - Original Message - From: "G. How do I resample? It's not just converting the file to a different rate as this keeps things at the same level. How might I re-sample - is there any software which might just cut the speed by 1/2 and similarly correct the pitch? For so long this is only what you could do, but of course now the in thing is to keep the pitch the same. Thanks. Re: Need Help With An Apparent Windows Media Problem
Hi Kevin: One thing I did figure out; last night..when I was fooling around with this thing; trying to get some positive results, I found that..if I go and play a file..that uses ""Winamp"..the file will play..and everything seems to right itself; I have my email sounder; I have my Windows Media Audio Stream..but as soon as I bring "TR" up (this is if I bring it up..and start recording)..then bring up an audio stream, I've got problems! on the other hand, if I bring up the audio stream first, then, bring up "TR"..and try to start a recording, often times (not always) but it'll cause the stream to "hang up"..and I have to do the "Alt-control-delete" thing! It's almost as if my computer somehow doesn't have enough memory to run everything...but that doesn't quite sound right to me either! Ideas anyone? Hi tom if you go into settings control panel sounds and multy media then audio have a look at which sound card is the default I bet You your total recorder has defaulted to the sound driver just go in and change back to your onboard sound or what ever sound card you have. I'm sorry I am not doing a grate job of explaining this but I have had this problem it would seem if you have done a recording using total recorders software mode it defaults back to the total recorder driver I think you can set the default sound card to use on board sound I have done this and all seems to be ok now it might be an idea to tell total recorder to use it's own driver only when total recorder is active. Re: Slowing down
Gold Wave and Sound Forge both do this well. I think you can slow it down by cutting the sampling rate in half, or you can use pitch shift, if you have Soundforge or Goldwave. - Original Message - From: "G. Hi Gary I have both functions in Adobe Audition and in DC6 - somehow or other I can't get this to work. Can anyone help? I have recorded 1 and 7/8 ips reel to reel tape at 3 and 3/4 speed and of course have found the recording too fast. I'm fairly sure that it's possible to slow this down to the normal speed by changing the sample rate but am not sure what to do. Can anyone advise? Thanks.
