RE: dvd audio extracter

2013-02-07 Thread Hamit Campos
I'm not sure about the slider. As for the titles, hmm, you and I wish.
It won't title them. It just comes out as title 1 or which ever title or
track you choose on the DVD, chapter wha ever number the chapter is. If
there is a way to actually get the chapter names, please someone inlighten
us. I'd like to know too. All athough, I don't think there is. See they are
pictures. In other words, it isn't text incoded on the DVD or BD AKA blu-ray
disk, but it's a image you choose when you choose a chapter. This kind of
question came up when IRTI came out with there talking DVD player program.
Some one asked if it would read titles of tracks and chapters and they said
no for the reason which I stated above about the pictures.

Hello, Everybody,

I have a couple of questions about DVD AUDIO EXTRACTER.

There's a slider in the section dealing with the kind of encoder to be used,
at least that's where I think it is. Is this a volume control? If so, is 0
the low end or the highest volume?

If the chapters to be extracted have titles, is there a way to have them
written during the extraction? I saw something which looked like place
markers for such titles, but I could not find a check box to go with that.

Thanks for your helpthe

There's no may about it. You're monitoring yourself. Of corse there's going
to be feedback if you're using an internal mic and internal speakers.

Ok why use headphones is it because of tremendous feedback that may come
from the speakers?

Hello!
I have a question about Virtual Audio Cable and recording both my own
voice and system sounds, including speech from my screen reader.
Please is this possible? I know about setting it all up; It's just
having the outputs recorded at the same time. This could be useful if
say I want to do a podcast on an application that uses system sounds.
Any responses will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
Kind Regards,
Christopher Hallsworth.

Re: re sound taxi question

2013-02-07 Thread Christopher Chaltain
Yes, I agree. You might be able to find some other converter that will
convert M4A files into another format, but then you run the risk of
introducing some new artefacts. Best if you can go to the source and
just specify another format.

Re: good stereo mick for plextalk

2013-02-07 Thread Don Ball
well if you just want a hand held stereo mic the sony 907 is a great mic
with good localization. This mic runs about $100. More basic than that is
the sound professionals t mic. It is just a basic pluggin t mic. you can get
it wired or one a jack that pluggs in to the plextalk.
More expensive is the audio technica at 822 but is to pricy now days in my
book.

I use to get it for about $200 but I think it s ells for about $400 now.
Everyone loves sound professionals standard in ear bynoral mics. They sell
for about $90 now I think but do a great job.

Is anyone out there using the plextalk pocket with a stereo mick? I'd like
to hear a recording of it if possible and get a recommendation for a good
one. Thanks. Joe.

I have no idea what message you're replying to, so sorry if I miss the
mark here, but couldn't you use sound Taxi to convert to another format?
I used to use Sound Taxi to convert my .wma files into .mp3 files that I
could play on my MP3 players that don't support MS's proprietary format.

Re: re sound taxi

2013-02-07 Thread Robert Doc Wright
you need to first go into settings to tell the program what output folder
you want the results sent to, the format of the file being converted. Then
you open the file you want converted and then start the conversion.
