Not really, I still have some film gear, which I intend to use again someday, I decided to stick with manual focus, (I've got a pair of LX bodies), so I've not paid much attention to the FAJ lenses, since I can't use them. FS: Flashes (Pentax and others)
* Starblitz 3601DTZ: analog TTL flash. Has the particularity to be multi-dedicated so it works (didn't test) with multiple brands. Keep in mind It is Analog TTL so oldish TTL systems. It works nicelky on Pentax with usual limitations of compatible flashes: program doesn't work which means you have to work with manual/Aperture priority. But it works on my SuperA, Z1 etc. It should work on D/DS/DS2... (dunno the trigger voltage). I dunno if that brand takes TTL or not. The brand it is supposed to work with are (wth TTL or not, dunno): Nikon, Canon, Olympus, Chinon, Ricoh, Pentax, Minolta and Yashica/Contax. It also has a zoom head from 35mm-85mm and an 28mm reflector as well as colour filters. Takes 4AA batteries. Contacts are clean. It can swivel/bounce. 25 euros. * Pentax AF240FT: Digital TTL only IMO(not PTTL and no LX/SuperA TTL). Has pouch, fixed head. Red AF illumnator. Has also a 5P sync plug (with cap). Will work with e.g. D/DS/DS2. 25 euros. * Metz 40MZ2 (model with two flash reflectors) with both SCA3701 (digital TTL anf AF bodies dedicated) and SCA372 (analog TTL and MF bodies dedicated) adapters. Excellent flash I'm sorry I have to sell it. In good condition. With pouch. 80 euros. I'm in Europe and will have to add shipping of course. Can accept paypal but will up the price a bit (mighty tax). -- Thibault Massart aka Thibouille -- *ist-D,Z1,SFXn,SuperA,KX,MX, P30t and KR-10x ;) ... -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net

PUG is dying?
I think I need to eat my words on this subject. The August PUG is the best for a long time. I especially liked Bruce D's Oakland Temple, Greg Cooper's Church Top, Dag T's @ (my favourite), and Anne S's wonderfully whimsical (and cleverly named) Under construction, just to name a few. The high (and high quality) turnout does suggest that a simple theme can be more inspirational than a quirky one designed to challenge the photographer. This was a straightforward subject, but it didn't produce banal images. Or perhaps it is just that the subject is a popular one. Marnie, KPFA is ~NOT~ a talk radio station. It produces and airs many public affairs shows, but it also airs a lot of music as well. You can do a lot worse things with your time than listening to the station for a day or so. Tom, If you want to go in prior to the formal opening time, be prepared to PAY dearly for a guide. You will have no choice. Guide or nothing. If I remember, it cost us (3) $40 ea. Sunrise is prior to daily opening time. We had been in the previous pm and knew exactly where we wanted to be, but we were not given a choice. I had a 4-WD, but many didn't and at that time,('prox 3 yes ago) the road/trail didn't require it. There is a day use picnic area I saw, but don't believe there is a camping place there. I'm putting up a shot taken from the picnic area. (Used orange filter) Recommend close by Goulding's Lodge, 2 mi. off US 163 and Goulding's Jct. All services and a bit of history. The lodge is perched on a side bluff which affords a nice area view. It overlooks a small airport where, at least at one time, provided light fixed wing aircraft flights over the Valley. As posted, I'd suggest cropping/cloning out the pads in the LH lower section. Does it need the title to 'explain' why I cropped it this way? Heck no. Its your image and you can do it any way you want. Does it make sense, even with the title? Not sure you mean by sense. I see several possible crops with what you've posted. +As posted with the stuff @ the bottom removed as suggested above. +Cropped square, centered about the buds themselves. +Cropped to eliminate all below the lower left hand leaf. FS: Sync cord
Recently sold my only LX. (never thought I'd see the day). I have a never used 16' 4P sync cord (straight) which has the dbl attachment (PC/TTL) for the front of the LX body. Cost something like $45 and is absolutely as taken out of the box. Asking $25 and you select and pay shipping. Off list, if you like: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Jack __ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
