Amazon never ceases to amaze me.

2015-09-03 Thread P.J. Alling

I just received a missive from Amazon that's entirely on topic. All Pentax.

The amazing part is the prices.

I can get a K-50 for only $296.47, which is really a pretty good price,
then there's the K-500 which is offered for only $539.99. Wait, what?
No, no, it's not priced in some other currency, it's USD. The rest of
the e-mail is in that vein, higher level camera lower price. Lower
level longer discontinued camera higher price.

You can buy a K-30 for more than a K-S2 and nearly twice the price of
the K-50.

I know, I've seen it before, but it never fails to boggle my mind.

recording

I tried sending this an hour or so ago, but see no evidence either in my
inbox or my sent folder of it.

Here's my August "best of" set. Meteors, cars and my back yard:

Here are a couple sets (should be visible even without a facebook
account) of me having the sort of fun I haven't had in far too long.

Ok - after a little while the "problem" box, that showed up in both
browsers (I'm on Windoze 7, btw) went away - the

photo was a good viewing size (didn't have to scroll to see all) .

and I learned that you played the guitar :-)

As far as I know, about two-thirds of it are taxes of various sorts.

Less than 10% of the raw material is produced within our land;
this and almost all the rest is refined in Turkey.

This is perhaps the easiest way of getting (sucking?) big sums of
money from everybody continuously.
