Re: Perils of Wedding Photography
Yeah. I've been following the story. They got what they contracted for and then wanted to photographer to give them more at no extra charge. Apparently she was only willing to go so far with that & it wasn't good enough for the couple. I think the judgment has already been appealed. Anyone want to give odds on which comes first - the final judgment from the court or their divorce? It seems the high rez images, though somewhat understated in the article, were the real issue here. The extra cost of the album cover photo was just a red herring that demands more public attention. Hi-rez images are 21st century negs and you never easily give them up. -p On 8/6/2017 5:28 PM, Mark C wrote: Stumbled into this story this morning - a 21st century morality play involving a photographer *https://tinyurl.com/yclg86o8* --- This email has been checked for viruses by AVG. http://www.avg.com -- Being old doesn't seem so old now that I'm old. -- PDML Pentax-Discuss Mail List PDML@pdml.net http://pdml.net/mailman/listinfo/pdml_pdml.net to UNSUBSCRIBE from the PDML, please visit the link directly above and follow the directions.

Re: PESO - Looking Out the Window
I like the first one a lot--nice composition, and well-noticed with people in the two windows, doing different things. The composition is pleasing on the second one, but methinks more contrast might make it stronger. Re: Ot: the recent perils of annsan
Well, Ann, it doesn't sound as though you're having much fun at all. FWIW, I just ordered a wall calendar (for 2018). I would have ordered a 2017 one, too (ours disappeared during our renovation project), but I can't get one that starts in January 2017. Hope things smooth out! I'm semi-de lurking for the latest news for those of you who care :-) a couple of weeks ago the plumbing in my bathroom died to the extent that the bathtub would not drain... this took a couple of days of being invaded by the buildings plumbers and it finally got fixed .
