Re: [PHP-DOC] cvs: phpdoc /RFC 2003_meeting_agenda.html
georg Tue Jun 24 04:50:35 2003 EDT Modified files: /phpdoc/RFC 2003_meeting_agenda.html Log: changed location (Room 1.34) Great, thanks for the information Georg. I guess this room is us for the whole day. Now it is up to the docteam [exactly those who will be there] to decide on a start time. 10 or 9 in the morning is OK? I would prefer 9 to do as much as possible, and have time for breaks when we get tired of course. I'll probably arrive with a Euronight + DB IC that morning in Karlsruhe, so it would be nice to know the exact time, so I can choose train connections fitting in the time schedule. This way I can eliminate the need for accomodation on the night before. Goba -- PHP Documentation Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php

-experience./p +experience. Also, one should be able to search both peardoc +and phpdoc manuals through one interface (ex. php.net/sqlite)/p Erm, should is too agressive wording here. I am sure many will oppose the addition of more shortcuts ;) So may would be better. Goba -- PHP Documentation Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php

One should be able to find a PECL function through php.net search facilities otherwise life would be (is) too difficult, especially as more and more extensions are being moved to PECL, with some of those docs being moved to peardoc too. I'm sure most will agree on this and it'll help PECL gain popularity as opposed to, as some will say, a Siberia status. Users could care less if something is in phpdoc or peardoc, and will feel lost and confused if we force them to care. If this isn't possible, there should be a good reason why :) Regards, Philip -- PHP Documentation Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php

But haven't you been the one to warn us of performance problems for using array_reverse() for those who would like to get notes in reversed order? I have not said I don't like the idea, but projected that there will be opposition [mainly because possible name colissions and performance reasons]. Wez said some time ago, that we have enough URL shortcuts, and you said these things slow down the server... I have written the above with that in mind... This is not a bad idea at all. But you and Wez will also attend the meeting, so we can talk about these things too ;) Goba -- PHP Documentation Mailing List (http://www.php.net/) To unsubscribe, visit: http://www.php.net/unsub.php
