Yes, you can. You can apply patches sent by users of the online editor, as long as you credit them. However, read the translation rules before any commit: http://wiki.php.net/doc/translations/pt_br. The most important rule is: TEST before commiting. You should also read, and follow, the docs manual: https://wiki.php.net/doc/howto. And make sure your local build is synced with both EN and pt_BR. The patches currently awaiting for approval in the online editor have been rejected since they break the build and are not following the translation rules. By the way, cURL is not the focus of pt_BR right now. pt_BR is completely out of sync with EN, making the entire translation effort volatile. The current focus of the translation is syncing language and security, as well other crucial parts. reference is our last priority right now. If someone syncs reference, either cURL or any other part of the reference, the chance that the build will break due to non-existing entities or references is huge. The thing that you don't understand is how the pt_BR is outdated and out of sync. It is truly volatile and hacked-together. Some commits were made just to fix missing references, instead of syncing the whole affected document. Recently we had updates to the cURL extension and the build broke due to missing references. Same happened when SimpleXML was updated. Also, our build tends to break with apparently harmless EN updates. Even though cURL isn't changed frequently, there's a 2 or 3 year gap between EN and pt_BR. This applies for lot's of documents in pt_BR. We're currently fixing this, but language and security are much more important than reference right now.

Re: [PHP-DOC] SVN Account Request: alejandrorodas
Hannes, All new members are committing their own files. I wrote a guide specific to help them after they get their own account. They are also subscribed to this E-Mail list. BTW: we have already translated 80%! If you are the administrator of another language I recommend you to write a few words in the credits page to get other people to help: It REALLY helps. This is how I´m getting most of the new members. (see http://www.php.net/manual/es/) Thanks! Yago On Sun, Dec 11, 2011 at 3:40 AM, Hannes Magnusson hannes.magnus...@gmail.com wrote: Approved. Re: [PHP-DOC] SVN Account Request: uri
Hi Philip, can you please activate the SVN account for: uri. Language: Catalan. I'm helping him to restart the Catalan translation project. Thank you! Tal segona part és la que aporta l'ordre literalelse/literal (en català si no). Aixà l'literalelse/literal permet expandir l'ús de les sentencies literalif/literal, en cas que aquella sigui avaluada com a falsa (false;). Re: [PHP-DOC] SVN Account Request: mario
Have you seen https://edit.php.net ? Since we do no know you, we need to do a quick sanitycheck on you. That check is done with you posting several patches, and then expressing interest in continuing working on the documentations. At that point you will need an SVN account. -Hannes On Sat, Jul 30, 2011 at 17:11, Mario Brandt jbl...@gmail.com wrote: Pierre ask me to sign up for a svn account.
