Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Controlling SC with Ipod and Ipeng
It works again now. I am really having a hard time understanding the problem though. When I got up it was still running with a 20 sec delay. Then I turned off a USB printer I have connected to my server, deleted the MAC adress in Ipeng settings and flushed the cache. I don't know why it started working after that, but it did. After it syncronized the cache it was working normally again. Rather wierd, but it works now, so hephey! =) I am running version 7.0 of squeezecenter I was had no delay when I controlled SC in the web interface or when I used the remote that came with the SqueezeBox Duet. I think ill upgrade my SC sometime in the weekend and see if that will eleminate the problem for good. -- Northbull Northbull's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=30225 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65605 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: Moose 0.71 (win frontend)
The announcement caught my attention today and I thought I'd give Moose a try. It is really awesome I have to say. I was really surprised at how easy it was to get going in my configuration. My server is running on Linux and it password protected and I don't use the default port address - all of these things were handled well by Moose. My daughter is 5 and is just starting to learn to read. She is quite adept at using a computer already and regularly browses websites like Disney, Sprout, and Nick Jr. Seeing the artwork navigation of Moose got me thinking that this would be a great UI for her to use to select music on her Boom! And it is. To allow her to navigate, all I have to do is select the "kiddie" genre so that only the covers from that genre are shown and adjust the size as appropriate for her. Fantastic! The issue is that when Moose is exited, restarted, and the cover view is gone back to, it reverts back to showing the covers for the entire library. It would be nice if changes made in the selected genre in the cover view persisted. Again, an amazing application! -- maggior Rich - Setup: 2 SB3s, 3 Booms, 1 duet, 1 receiver. I have now installed the 7.4 - r27438 version of Squeezecenter. It did a lengthy rescan and all my music reappeared. I then installed the Trackstat beta plugin and after restarting SC it did an even longer rescan. My previous setup did do a automatically nightly backup of the Trackstat's and it seems that your plugin might have restored that from the latest backup automatically?!? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Controlling SC with Ipod and Ipeng
Hi guys, I really hope you can help me here. I have a TS-119 and everything has been running smoothly. No problems for weeks with this setup. -But now a problem has accured. This is the second time its happened and I cant fix it now. When I try to control SqueezeCenter with an Ipod +Ipeng (3rd. party software) it starts to go suuper slow. I get a 15-20 seconds delay, from push button to action. I get this in the SSOTS log (I tun SC on a NAS Qnap TS-119 server and the program running SC is called SlimSever on TurboStation) My server log: 16265: [09-07-14 18:29:58.9212] Slim::Networking::Select::select (245) Error: Select task failed: 'x' outside of string in unpack at /share/HDA_DATA/SqueezeCenter/Slim/Networking/Discovery.pm line 154. I am getting this same error over and over, but I have no idea what it means. I don't know what caused this, because I am doing so much different stuff on my server all the time. If I use the "logitech" remote it works, but when Ipod connects it get major delay. It has worked fine before though. Any one has an idea? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: Moose 0.71 (win frontend)
I started testing moose 0.71 with the new SQLite build running on an XP server. In order to be able to copy and rescan the library I had to share the Squeezebox Server Cache folder and entered the path to that shared folder as the SQLite data source. Is this the correct way? 1. Is there an equivalent SQL$ hidden share in XP when it's running an instance of SQLite? 2. I selected to copy the SQLited db locally, but when I click to rescan tbe moose library the progress bar window comes up, but no progress is reflected. (The album covers and progress bar display as expected when I rescan the thumbnails from cache) 3. After the scan is finished I end up with several albums with multiple album covers in the Album Cover view. All the duplicate covers lists all the tracks in the album when I select Play Track. Btw, the Tree view of shows the correct number of covers per album and so does the SC Web UI. 4. I think I mentioned this before, the order of the tracks in the Play Track view when I right click an Album cover is not in order after "some" rescans. -- tamanaco tamanaco's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4620 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=63593 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] MusicInfoSCR and SC 7.4 (v24896)
Hiya Michael. I'm running your MIS 4.4.2 included in SC7.4 build July 13th, WinXP, Boom & SB3 MIS is running and all configured, selected fields function as expected, except Playlist is selected for upper left field, but that field will only display the Now Playing text. I've double checked every menu setting for MIS, screensavers, and display as they are configured on my SC7.3.3 (which properly displays the correct Playlist) but I cannot get it to properly display the Playlist in SC7.4 on either Boom or SB3? Any ideas? I likely have missed a setting somewhere. :( Thanks for your help (again) and your incredible MIS plug-in! -- toby10 toby10's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=12553 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=59355 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC Listen Again links lost?

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] AlienBBC - 7.3.3 - cannot stream?
Your mods look OK. I must be missing something. The mods you have made should make AlienBBC behave like 2.4 which you had working on 9.04 so it should be working. I'll have to review the logs again to see if there is another explanation and probably make up a version of mplayer.sh which produces more message to make sure all the command (e.g. exec) are in fact succeeding. -- bpa bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=65473 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Can you try the previous version of mplayer.sh but edited to use /dev/f/4 so the change to custom-convert.conf is also needed.
