Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] SrvrPowerCtrl - End of Day action
As I was reading your last post I straight away thought of the issue where you might have a slightly different Sleep/Shutdown option for Idle vs EOD, but then just as quickly realised that if this was the cas, then you probably would still want the EOD action to 'wake-to-do'. If you are luck enough to have a box that could wake from Sleep, that might be your regular idle action, then for EOD it would wake from sleep (which would only take a couple of seconds' in order to shut down (or hibernate) properly. So, yeah I think your logic is bang on there and I look forward to seeing it implemented. Keep up the good work! :-) -- rickwookie rickwookie's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6397 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=66330 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Transporter first screen blank using Music Information Screensaver v4.4.2
Sounds like we're hitting a bug in S::M::TitleFormatter. What's the MIS configuration you're using for the left screen? fixed in rev. 28177. Did you open a bug about this? -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

It looks to me like you can join up as an Apple developer for free and then download the developer tools. http://developer.apple.com/Tools/ That's about as much assistance as I can offer, as I still don't have a Mac! [SlimDevices: Plugins] Follow me music
Hi there all, Quick question for you - I have a SB3 and Boom, and was wondering if anyone has thought about a follow me option in the SC menu on the players. Here's the example: I'm in the lounge listening to music on my SB3. I select Follow me ... from the menu and it responds with the players attached to my SC server. I choose the player I want, in this case my SB Boom. After a pre-determind amount of time (configurable in the plugin interface of the Web page) my SB3 is switched off, the playlist transferred to the Boom, which is powered up and picks up the playlist where it left off. Anyone seen this being configured as a 3rd party plugin? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Beta version of SvrPowerControl
gharris999;447739 Wrote: I think this is probably a permissions problem. Are you running SqueezeCenter as a service, or as a user app? Try putting SCPowerTool.exe in a non-system folder (e.g. C:\temp) and then giving regular users full permissions to both the folder and to the EXE file. Then, fix up the command line in the settings to give the full path to SCPowerTool.exe and see if that does the trick. I've been putting off some of my Windows testing until I've got Win7 64b installed...which will be...I don't know...when I get around to it, I guess. Thanks a lot for helping. I thought I had done all the mentioned things, but it turned out, that I had only given myself and administrators permission to the folder with scpowertool.exe. I had to give permission to Everyone. And now it actually works! Seems to be a great plugin. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Follow me music
Look for the Other Players plugin. You can also just keep the players synced and the playlists will stay in sync even if you only play one box at a time. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
I am a brand-new iPeng user. Very nice app -- much easier to use than the controller than came with my duet. It seems to be missing one critical feature, though. How do you bring up track info from the PlayList (under NowPlaying)? Since a tap causes the indicated track to start playing, I tried to press-and-hold, but that does not work either. I actually bring up the track info on my duet controller from the playlist all the time. I often use it when I decide to play the rest of the tracks by an artist or album (when the current playlist is just random songs from a genre, for example). [SlimDevices: Plugins] Super Date /Music Info Help please -
So I've been a little layed up with a cold/flu, and trying to tweak the settings on my system some. Downloaded and installed the Super Date/Time plug in, and the Music Info plug in. Like very much My SB3 is in the living room, with my Mini that's the server, and I've been able to get it set-up pretty well on that. But I've failed miserably to get it working well on the Boom I use in the bedroom, and the SB2 in the workshop I have some issues with as well. The Boom seems to require a very different set-up since I guess the screen is a different size? And now, when I have a radio station on, there are 2 strings that try to display, one fixed and one scrolling. Can anyone walk me through the right way to get everything configured, and the right settings for when you have 3 different devices attached?
