I can't reproduce this for either the US or Canadian sites. Both are
working just fine. Without any debugging info I'm at a loss here

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: CDplayer plugin

2009-11-28 Thread Limping_Pylon

Hello,

thanks for an (up to now) very useful plugin.

I had the manually installed version of this working in my previous 7.3
server system but since 'upgrading' to 7.4.1 and using the plugins tab
to install cdplayer i do not get any sound from my transporter or sb3.

from the player or web interface I can see the installed cd and the
tracklistings are successfully shown but on pressing play the now
playing display shows the track name but the time never changes from
00:00 on the TP or SB3. interestingly if i bring up the web interface
the time is incrementing there...

any ideas?

Good...I'm glad it's working for you now. I've had problems with this
sort of thing too. I've got one machine that has to have its power cord
pulled in order to stay off. I guess it just _really_ wants to compute.
I've yet to figure out a way to make it feel less motivated.

That would be something like 2 hours. LastFM has been playing on my

[SlimDevices: Plugins] CustomSkip error

I'll have to banish popups for now as they screwed up all the key event

Very Nifty.

Oh, and I got it to mix as I wanted by brute force - with a custom
recipe. Although I had to spend far too long gathering and decoding what
information on recipes has survived MusicIP's comings and goings. I
suspect that if there were better docs on recipes SugarCube could be the
killer app.

My next job is to create a "Christmas" music recipe.

2009-11-28 Thread pippin

If the artwork does appear in NowPlaying but not while browsing, please
try "Settings->iPeng Settings->Flush Cache".

If it does not appear on NowPlaying, too, it's probably an issue I'm
seeing when the server scans new albums by browsing into their folder. I
then get an absolute path to the file and haven't yet found a way to get
that artwork from the server.

In the latter case, usually a "Clear and Rescan" of the database helps.

The solution for me was to change the network adapters wake on settings
to magic packet only, I suspect lots of people have this issue.

Then reinstalled the beta version of the plugin you recommend for SBS
7.4.0 or later and so far it works a treat. Moved monitor idle players
slider down to 5 mins and as soon has time was up pc fell silent!!

Works also from IR controller, many thanks for creating such a great
plugin and also for your patience with its users!
