Hi erland, are their any instructions on what the settings mean? I want a view just like the Radio default now playing screen but with ratings and the album year shown. I added the 2 fields (TRACKSTATRATINGDYNAMIC and YEAR) to the Information Screen now playing options but I get the view changing every 5 seconds between the default now playing, my custom view and the album art work. How can I only show my custom view? [SlimDevices: Plugins] Integration with Control4 Home Automation
We're in the design phase of our next house and home automation is part of the agenda. Given I'm a huge fan of Squeezebox (Duet and one classic and possibly growing) I was hoping there is some integration with Control4 - our home automation system of choice. I saw one thread on these forums back in 2005 and was wondering whether there has been some developments in the meantime. If yes, what's possible? I'm importing the Track Stat backup file from my old system and initially I had repeated audio gaps for a few miuntes but since then - about a hour - I still have a very unresponsive system and the HD light is flashing lots. Is this normal? How long would you expect it it to take? I removed the stock Sirius and loaded 7.4.1 for ReadyNas Duo as per the instructions. That all works okay. I grabbed the link for the (not so) Sirius Plugin and put it in the Extension Loader. Click Apply. The (not so) Sirius Plugin shows and I click the Enable box and Apply. SqueezeServer goes into restart. When come back and go into Plugins it wants to keep installing. So on and so on. Neverending circle. The plugin will not load into the ReadyNas Duo version of the SqueezeServer 7.4.1. Argh PS) It does work from the SqueezeServer loaded on my laptop. [SlimDevices: Plugins] iTunes Update Plugin: Should skip count work?
Hello there! My question is in the title of the post really... I wonder if skip count should work when importing the history file from iTunes Update plugin into iTunes 9? I see on http://www.jamescraig.co.uk/SlimServer/index.html that it says this only works for iTunes 7, but some of the info on the page seems a bit out of date so it would be very nice if someone could clarify if this feature only works on iTunes 7, meaning it does not work on later versions of iTunes. Sigh, nothing works. I have the 3.51 xm plugin installed on the 7.41 server and have checked and rechecked my password settings. Both the plugin and uXM return an incorrect login message. Yet my iPhone XM app was able to login the first time with no problems. Any help would be appreciated. If you never want to show some of them, you will need to delete or hide them. If you only want to limit the screens to a single player, you can specify a "Screen configuration group" in the screens you want to see on that single player. If you want to see if it's doing something you can temporarily enable logging on plugin.trackstat and see if it outputs something in the log. If there are file paths to non existing files (renamed or moved) in the backup it may take a long time because every time it try to find a track that doesn't exist it takes a few seconds. This was a lot faster in earlier SBS releases but Logitech decided to change the database tables a bit in 7.4 so now it's really slow, especially if you have a large database. I suspect this is what happens in your case.
