It gave me some trouble to find Triodes test repository. At last I fount the 2.2.0 beta and installed it. Problems seem to get mixed up with (general?) Zyxel NAS problems. After installing the Spotify beta (2.1.0 version had been removed) I first saw it at the top of the plugin list, *but not activated!*. After checking it an restarting SB (see below) it came coming up in the same state, [b]with the request to restart SB[\b]. Now, after restarting the whole NAS I don't see any Spotify plugin any more. Not at the test repository, not at 3rd party plugins, nor under the list of advanced settings. But it keeps wanting to restart! Note: restarting SB from the plugins also doesn't go normal. Does the issue occur immediately when you switch player or some time later ? Are you unsynchronizing the players when you change the volume ? In that case I can understand that it won't work because unsynching the players will separate their playlists by design, so it's likely going to affect also Dynamic Playlist. I can strongly recommend iPeng if you have access to an iPhone/iPad, it makes it extremely easy to either change volume of individual players or change the volume on the complete synchronization group. Just upgraded to 7.7.0 so that we're using the same setup. Same behavior. I'm not unsynchronizing the players. They're always synchronized and set to power on/off with group. The exact steps to reproduce are: 1. Start a dynamic playlist, or to be more specific a SQL playlist, from the web interface. 2. Without leaving the Dynamic Playlists menu, select the other synchronized player from the web interface. That's all. The playlist restarts with new tracks immediately. Same thing happens if I switch players again. Sometimes it happens even if I do leave the Dynamic Playlists menu, but it happens reliably if I don't. Thanks for the suggestion of iPeng. I've been considering it for a while, but my love/hate relationship with Apple products has been leaning more toward hate lately. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Slimnas / Squeezebox / LMS problems
I tried to update to SlimNAS 2.0.2 and LMS 7.7, but things appear to have gone horribly wrong. Even though SlimNAS 2.0.2 seemed to install fine, as did LMS 7.7 - leastways, Logitech Media Server appeared in the FreeNAS 'Extensions' menu - Squeezebox just wouldn't start up. I then tried rolling back to earlier versions of Squeezebox Server and SlimNAS, but I now can't get any combination to work. Further, FreeNAS now itself seems problematic - Explorer tends to just hang for long periods if I try to access the FreeNAS file structure - and I'm wondering if the failed updates/roll-backs are causing this. I've attached my Slimserver server log from when I tried to update to 2.0.2/7.7 and when I susquently tried to roll back to 2.0.1 and Squeezebox Server 7.6.1, then 7.6.0 and finally 2.01/7.5.5 (which is what I had when I tried to upgrade to 2.0.2/7.7). [SlimDevices: Plugins] Random songs with random artists from TrackStats Most Played Artists
Hi, I have been trying to achieve this in various ways. I have also tried to search the forum as I assume someone else have struggled with the same, but no success so far. What I want to do is to have a sql playlist that with use of TrackStat can play random songs from the say 20 most played artists (then prio 2 is to do a second list that does the same for top rated artists). But trying to use the predefined random for most played artist does only result in a random list of songs from the same single artist. When I run it again I may get another artist but only songs from that artist. The artists are the most played ones, but I cannot figure out how to get random artist from the most played ones. I have tried to alter the sql, the parameters for the playlist etc. No success. Also just tried to play around with custom skip, but cant figure out if that can help me. Still get the same result. Any hints and tips are appreciated. -- mykee mykee's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=39555 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=91625 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] LazySearch and 7.6.0 r32296/32300
I just recognized that LazySearch 3.6.3 seems to have a bug. When I search for an artist which is also an artist of one or more songs of a compilation the albums of this artist and the compilations are correctly shown when I press RIGHT on the found artist. However, when I then press RIGHT on one of the shown compilations ALL songs of this compilation are shown, not only the songs of the search artist. It seems that there is no filter for the artist set. I am using squeezeboxserver 7.6.1 - r33110 on Ubuntu. -- dip dip's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=902 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=87060 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi, I've used the Spotify plugin for a long time now, with great joy! Recently I upgraded to Ubuntu 11.10 , LMC 7.7.1 and Spotify plugin 2.1.0. Now I experience some problems. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Sporadic MusicinfoSCR / Titleswitcher problem
On playing a track just now, the TitleSwitcher display was broken again. I can confirm that simply switching to the Player - Music Info screen in the web interface immediately fixes it though. I can't remember where the actual log file gets stored on the server, but I've attached a copy paste of the last 2000 lines from the web link - hopefully that will be enough. I started playing at 2344 (broken) and switched to Player - Music Info tab at 2347 (so this is the time it started working). If that's too vague I'm sure I can do the experiment again and try to get timings to the second. Hmm, for some reason I can't see any log messages at all before 23:47, didn't TitleSwitcher/MusicInfoSCR produce log messages also when it didn't work ? If so, could you try to repeat a test so we can get a log file which contains both messages when it's not working and log messages when it's working. The following string in the log indicates that TitleSwitcher returns something to MusicInfoSCR which should be shown: Plugins::TitleSwitcher::Plugin::getTitleFormat (200) Returning If there is a valid value in the end of this log message and it's still not displayed on the screen it feels like something is wrong on the MusicInfoSCR end and then we need to get Michael (developer of MusicInfoSCR) into this thread to investigate the MusicInfoSCR part. -- erland Erland Isaksson ('My homepage' (http://erland.isaksson.info)) (Developer of 'many plugins/applets (both free and commercial)' (http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/User:Erland). Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Slimnas / Squeezebox / LMS problems
Can you provide a full log from running 7.7? Worst case you may want to remove the usr subfolder below the SlimNAS installation folder and try the installation again.
