I didn't get prompted for a restart after upgrading the plugin (I don't know whether this is under your control), although I did after adding your repository. It didn't work straight off, but as soon as I manually initiated a restart it's worked just fine. Thanks for taking the initiative and working on this. The 'YouTube URL' paste box still doesn't work but that seems to have broken when the URL format changed some time ago. After installing the plugin today and finding out afterwards it didn't worked :( I decided to roll my sleeves up and have a go at fixing it. I've taken a copy of v0.13 and I've created a new version that is working for me (tested on v7.6.1). Many thanks to the previous contributors to this plugin. Changelog for v0.14: - Fixed "no streams errors" so Youtube videos now play - Updated menu icon To install the update just add the following third party repository instructions below: - Open Squeezebox Server in a web browser - In the bottom right, select "Settings" - Near the top, select the "Plugins" tab - Scroll all the way to the bottom. At the box titled 'Additional Repositories' add http://cssukgw.dyndns.org/squeezebox/repo.xml - In the bottom right hand corner, select "Apply" - Say yes to "Restart Now" - Close web browser and wait for a couple of mins for the server to restart - Open Squeezebox Server in a web browser - In the bottom right, select "Settings" - Near the top, select the "Plugins" tab - Under 'Active Plugins' check that YouTube (v0.14) is installed. If not, there may be an option at the top of the page to update the plugin. Click the tick box to the left of the YouTube plugin and select "Apply" in the bottom right hand corner. - Say yes to "Restart Now" - Close web browser and wait for a couple of mins for the server to restart - You should be good to go! Over the last few days the rebuffering on the BBC service has been pretty bad. Listening live yesterday I gave up with the amount of interruptions and switched over to a stream from RadioIO. Now at the end of last week I found the live to be stable but the Listen Again to be stop and start. Now I feel this problem is related to an ISP / BBC problem and not a plugin or LMS issue since I can instantly switch to another radio streaming service (ClassicFM or RadioIO) or use my Spotify Premium account with no buffering whatsoever. If I had problems with other streams then I would look at a local issue but in this situation with it being related only to the BBC and not being a constant or regular occurrence leads me to believe it will be resolved eventually but is something out of the scope of Logitech and other related systems. If you previously had problems with version 2.2.2 running on your ARM based device and needed to manually install version 2.0.4, please could you try removing that and installing 2.2.2 normally from the plugin page. Hi, I am lookign for some support RE: the youtube plugin + my DS509+ NAS. The plugin only works on an occasional basis: sometimes it plays youtube perfectly, but more often it starts to displays as if it played the first 3 or 7 seconds, then gets back to 0, while there is no sound at all. Since I was a couple of times able to make it work in a perfect quality, I think the NAS itself is able to provide the necessary processing power/resources. Can you pls help me what could be the reason behind this strange phenomenon? I also tried reducing the quality in the settings tab, but it apperantly has no effect on the success of the playback. I have an album where there is four artists and one album artist . In album views the album is presented as being by the album artist correct. But in the playlist the tracks are presented as by one of the artist ?? Not the album artist ? That's indeed VERY strange. It means MySB has not enabled Napster but MOG and named it Napster, there's somthing going severely wrong in your MySB account. Which country is your account set to? Did you try to "uninstall" and "reinstall" the Napster App? You can't do remote access with Logitech's Squeezebox App but with SqueezeCommander it would work, here you can set a remote address. Probably with some of the other Android Apps, too, don't know, only SqueezeCommander and OrangeSqueeze are available for my device and the latter doesn't seem to support it. You'll also have to open up ports on your router to access your server remotely. Hi, I altered the per player settings for Napster on mysqueezebox.com to show on the home menu but in when it is displayed in iPeng on the top menu (I'm using the iPad app) the MOG icon is displayed alongside the word 'Napster' and if I try to use it I'm presented with a message that I need to create a MOG account. Napster in the My Apps menu looks fine and works fine. Very strange.
