Hi Pinkdot,
thanks for your answer.
I tested your new version ...69138. - haven't had success. I coun't
start lms.
Afterwards I installed a very old version from you (...27735). - I
installed it manually - the version run without a problem.
I also tested the beta from Synlogoy. - Works fine for me.

Do you have a old version like ...13811 or ...4380 (something between
27735 and 69138) for me?

Thanks

I will think about it, but for now it suites its needs. The LmsRepack
repository is known on all main Synology forums as it is here. So I
don't see any benefits in moving the repository to a Synology community
repo.

LmsRepack is a repack. Which means it uses the released package from
Synology and merges the github changes into it. So, together with all
the effort Michael is putting in the LMS, it provides an updated version
of lms to the Synology. I don't see any development coming to LmsRepack
outside the community here, and basicly what is hapening in the github
code. All I need for now is feedback on the packages if everything is
working as expected.

So I'll stick to the current process and infrastructure for now ;-)

Greetings,

Martin.

Simply great work! I always hoped for a standalone solution for LMS
independent from Synology. Would it not be a good idea to host your
LMS-repack in one of the big synology community repositories to spread
your great solution automatically to a wider audience? Maybe some other
developers will be reached that like to support with further
developments (unfortunately my knowledge is only at user level), as well
as alot of other happy users.

Just an idea...

Well no, I have no idea. However, when you say it doesn't work, does
the plugin start? Can you get it to produce a log?

If you run it directly:

Code:

/usr/local/zy-pkgs/gui/SqueezeCenter/Cache/InstalledPlugins/Plugins/UPnPBridge/Bin/squeeze2upnp-armv6hf

does it at least display the options?

If you then run without the -v option does it report anything on the

Try adding *dwc_otg.fiq_fsm_mask=0xf* to /boot/cmdline.txt

and reboot.

If you google that you'll find many issues with corrupt SD cards on the

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Spotify Premium Plugin (Beta)

2015-07-22 Thread computaholic

Hello,

I have a feature request or in other words, I would like to change
something in the plugin and maybe someone knows how to achieve this.

1. Within the Spotify Plugin go to Playlists
2. Playlists are displayed as "user: name_of_playlist"

What I would like to see is a different View on the playlist,
specifically rather "name_of_playlist by user" instead of "user:
name_of_playlist". If you have a lot of Playlists, this would make a
nicer appearance.

I've gone through the source code but I just cannot figure out where to
change things to achieve this. Does anyone know where this display
setting is locsted in the code?

Are you sure you have the right IP from the PI? Have you double checked
the router device list? The UI in the whole focus of this product so if
that doesnt work for you I'd be trying to sort that out first because it
seems like this is a 'check the plug before you take it apart' type

However the eq doesn't appear to work.

not working and they aren't. .so i can be sure eq is not working.

has anyone else seen this on their setup?

It was working on the older images.

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Test] Repo for LMS 7.9.0 on Synology DSM 5.*

2015-07-22 Thread joerg633

Hi pinkdot,
i am using version 1436858598 for some days (because of the napster
discussion 'here'
(http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?103947-Napster-Problem&p=824647&viewfull=1#post824647))
It seems that this version is very slow while playing music espacially
from tunein.
The server.log shows all the time:
[15-07-22 08:51:49.0696] Slim::Player::Protocols::HTTP::getMetadataFor
(663) Metadata provider Slim::Plugin::RadioTime::Metadata::provider
failed: Can't call method "master" on an undefined value at
/volume1/@appstore/LmsRepack/Slim/Plugin/RadioTime/Metadata.pm line
165.
[15-07-22 08:51:49.0703] Slim::Control::Request::execute (1890) Error:
While trying to run function coderef
[Slim::Control::Queries::songinfoQuery]: [Can't call method
"playingSong" on an undefined value at
/volume1/@appstore/LmsRepack/Slim/Player/Protocols/HTTP.pm line 672.
]
The selected radio station will be played after a timeout for 30 seconds
each time i change the station!
Could you confirm this?

Hi Julian,

Bit strange, I have the same architecture (almost) and have no problems
what so ever. Please find a new update in the package center. I moved
the audioscan file to its original place. This might do the trick.
