Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
Actually forgot to mention an important info.. I will still be the only one using spotify via the LMS (LMS on RPi via piCorePlayer). There wount be other family members on this LMS. I guess "wount" is "won't"? Then you should be fine, yes. I think the limitation that was mentioned was something like you can't easily switch account among the various family members. You could somehow access your other members favorites, but that's it. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotify Protocol Handler - play Spotify on all your Squeezeboxen
Just a little notification for those struggling with playing Spotify on synced players: Doesn't seem to work with this plugin. If you only use SB Radio and Touch, remove it. That's a very odd piece of information, as I initially specifically created for this very purpose: overcome the buggy synchronization of Spotify for SB Radio/Touch... It was my primary use for it, not streaming to unsupported devices. But whatever improves your situation is fine :-) -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I was all set to listen to a new album, Shine A Light by Billy Bragg and Joe Henry. Purchased from eMusic.com. Got the message "unsupported sample rate". It's a 320kbps album but as it turns out at an unconventional sample rate of 48 kHz. Unconventional but not unheard of, and eMusic is pretty mainstream. What's the story here? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Problems with file types on both iPlayer and iPlayer Extra
That error has nothing to do with your problem. Describe your system and player - "unable to play filetype" usually means your player cannot play AAC and LMS is unable to transcode due to wrong setting or faad not being available. This is probably a general problem on your system not a BBCiPlayer problem. If it is really a BBCiplayer 1.5.2 problem - please post on the thread for BBCPlayer 1.5.2. bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106688 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Couple of squeezelite on mac questions
I am using squeezelite via the Local Player plugin in LMS. Is it preferable to disable this and install Ralphy's 1.8 squeezelite for OS X? Any advantage whatsoever? Also I run Sierra 10.12.2 and cannot figure out how to add MP3 support. The rudix project as mentioned in the Local Player notes doesn't seem to support Sierra. To be completely honest here I run LMS server on my Mac and all my Linux and Raspberry Pi machines run the latest squeezelite. I still listen to some talk radio streams that are mp3 and can't listen on the mac. But the Mac is hooked to the killer audiophile vacuum tube system and not likely I'd ever listen to talk radio on it. Still, making it work interests me, if that makes sense. hagensieker's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=59959 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106685 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
