Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.6.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I have just realized that not all playlists are fetched and it seems to be some playlists that I follow that are missing. I.e. if I, in e.g. windows Spotify client, decide to Follow a playlist, it will show up as the first playlist under Playlists in the client. Though it does not show up under Playlists in the Spotty app. Please set logging for plugin.spotty to DEBUG, browse around Spotty's playlists, then upload your server.log.zip to https://www.dropbox.com/request/T3RctyzGgNg0oFDubq6a -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.6.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Hello, (I should start with mentioning that I do have my own spotify developer id enabled in spotty settings.) I have just realized that not all playlists are fetched and it seems to be some playlists that I follow that are missing. I.e. if I, in e.g. windows Spotify client, decide to Follow a playlist, it will show up as the first playlist under Playlists in the client. Though it does not show up under Playlists in the Spotty app. Though, if I create my own playlist it soon enough shows up in Spotty. I can also mention that some of the playlists that I have been following for some time are also missing but not all of them. My setup: Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1 - 1505480690 (Not sure if this is recent enough. I have not been notified about any updates lately though.) Spotty 2.6.3 openSUSE Leap 42.3 (Anything else important?) I have not had time to enable any logs but I can do that, soon:ish, if you wish. /Anders falolaf's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=31117 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109705 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Hoping for help with SQL Playlist
Thanks to all who have read my post! With well over a hundred views and no responses, I suspect my question is just too obscure. Maybe nobody has tried to do this before. But it has occurred to me that there might be other reasons for the lack of response: 1. Maybe I did not describe the problem well enough, so nobody understands what I'm trying to do. I will try to remedy that with a clearer description below. Or, 2. in the first post, I mentioned a genre tag that uses a medieval ecclesiastical abbreviation for Christmas. Some people find that abbreviation offensive. So it might be that I have offended someone, and of course they would feel reluctant to help me. I apologize for any offense I gave, and I have edited the first post to remove the possibly offensive word. Or, 3. somebody might have experience with this very issue, but suspect that I am unwilling to do my own work, and thus be reluctant to help me out. If so, I understand that position. I'll be grateful for any advice that helps to steer me in the right direction, and I do not necessarily expect anyone to hand me a fully worked-out solution. Or, 4. I might have doomed my chances by failing to specify that I am using SQLite 1.34_01 (sqlite 3.7.7.1). With that out of the way, here's my second attempt to describe the situation: In brief, it is possible to have multiple genre tags in a single file. And it's easy to select music on the basis of any single tag contained in the files. Is it possible (using SQL Playlist or any other software that works with LMS) to select music on the basis that the files must contain two (or more) specific genre tags? Here's a more detailed description with examples: Let's say that I have a thousand music files. Every one of those files has at least one of the following genre tags: Country, Jazz, or Rock. Each file also contains one of these genre tags: Instrumental or Vocal. It's very easy to set up a dynamic playlist that will play all Jazz files, for instance, regardless of whether they are Vocal or Instrumental. It's also easy to play all Vocal files, regardless of whether they are Country, Jazz, or Rock. But is it possible to play only files that have both Country and Instrumental tags? Using the predefined options in SQL playlist, it's easy to select both those tags, but only with an "OR" Boolean relationship: files played will either be Country (vocal or instrumental) or they will be Instrumental (country, jazz or rock). Note that there is an easy workaround for this simple case, using the predefined options: just select to play Country files, then select to exclude all Vocal files. But that's as far as the predefined options can go. What I want to do is more complex, selecting files on the basis of multiple options, like this: (Country AND Instrumental) OR (Jazz AND Vocal) OR Rock Does anyone know if this sort of selection is possible? Obviously, it can not be done with the predefined options in SQL Playlist. So it will have to be done by constructing an SQL query. I'm a rank beginner at that task, but I am hoping to learn. Any advice will be appreciated, even a gentle nudge in the right direction. And again, if I would be better off using something other than the SQL Playlist plugin, that would be very helpful to know. I really don't know as nothing has changed in the initial URLs. I kknow that HLS stream handling have been changed by BBC recently and you had HLS as 1st preference so perhaps bad timing. I've managed to get the UK streams working \o/ I configured my server so that DNS requests from LMS were being routed direct through my ISP, along with the client traffic, and this got it working. So it does appear that server DNS is important after all. Interestingly, I tried switching my VPN to a UK based server for both DNS and other traffic and this did not work for the UK streams. Seems the BBC are hot on the VPN issue and are actively blocking known servers, even when UK based. One thing that confuses me still is that having the player set to 'Direct Streaming' rather than 'Proxied' makes no difference - the server DNS still seems to matter. So now you have a basic LMS front-end that works anywhere in a secure fashion. ;) As for the Google DialogFlow part, something has changed in the last week or so, either with DialogFlow / Google Actions and / or Home Assistant resulting in a webhook error 206 (at least on my system) causing the Dialogflow (Google) part to work for only the first command and then the app returns the message "LMS control is available right now, please try again later". The command actually gets processed (so volume goes up, song gets queued, etc..) but the feedback no longer works (ie: "Setting the volume to 20"). So it is functional (sort of) with one command at a time and no feedback I will try to solve it fairly soon, but integrating 3 pieces of software I have little control over is proving a bigger task than I hoped for. If you have time, give it a shot and let me know how you make out. In many cases BBC uses special stream "Live Events" and can only be found on the day of broadcast from the web site usually https://www.bbc.com/sport/13629860 or as suggested by Raymond Woodward https://twitter.com/TuneInLiveEvent (not sure if this twitter feed still works) The live event HLS/DASH URLs used to be are like the following for live event 79 HLS http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/webcast/hls/uk/high/llnw/audio_event_stream_079.m3u8 DASH http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/webcast/dash/uk/dash_full/ak/audio_event_stream_079.mpd Playable via BBCiplayer plugin by createing a favorite like iplayer://live?hls=http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/webcast/hls/uk/high/llnw/audio_event_stream_079.m3u8 iplayer://live?dash=http://a.files.bbci.co.uk/media/live/manifesto/audio/webcast/dash/uk/dash_full/ak/audio_event_stream_079.mpd Ian Hays posted a menu OPML file for all LIve event streasm in this post - perhaps you used this in the past https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?72709-Announce-BBCiPlayerExtra-v1-0&p=882479&viewfull=1#post882479 or https://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?72709-Announce-BBCiPlayerExtra-v1-0&p=882621&viewfull=1#post882621 But I am not sure if they are up to date since they were written in 2017 and BBCiPlayerExtra v1 had stopped working bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer V1.6 (and higher) & BBCiPlayerExtra 2.0 (and higher) Support
Firstly thanks to BPA for the continued effort to give us our daily BBC, much appreciated. I seem to remember a submenu where the 'red button' live streams could be selected but cannot seem to find it now. I was trying to listen to the new Cricket Social show for the Sri Lanka tour but couldn't fid it. As I cant stomach talksport will there possibly be a way to use the live streams in January for the west indies tour? Thanks again. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: LMS Controls - Google Home / Google Assistant Voice Control of LMS Players
Thanks a lot for your time and efforts. The authentification with the long lasting token (generetad in https://your_server.duckdns.org/profile) works like a charm. I just had to specify the 8123 port as my router does not handle port forwarding correctly. I can now move on with the Google part. kalimeroo's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68671 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109273 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
Yeah, I can confirm its not working. Will be fixed in next release... (seem to be saying that a lot...) Just earlier today I got angry about people who don't do anything, just to be sure they don't do the wrong thing. People who move risk to fail. But they make progress. Keep moving! Isn't this the agile software development process? Fail fast? :-D -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

WHS1 runs on a HP DataVault X312 and there are no multiple network cards. I might be totally off here. But WHS1 is dead. It's like XP. Get rid of it if you can... I couldn't get Spotty to work on it either. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
The players do not synchronise. Nothing happens. I can tick the box next to the chosen player but when I click on synchronise the players remain unsynchronised. Please check your browser's dev tools. There usually is a tab for network activity. When you trigger the sync command you should be able to see what command it's sending to the server, and what response it gets. Ignore all the "status" requests. Just browse through the list of requests until you find "sync". -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
