Yeah, sorry - I never saw this, I don't usually ignore posts. Seems to work OK for me too. I guess wait and see if re-occurs? To see why the click actions don't work, you'd need to add some debug to browse-resp.js - as I'm guessing the code in there is marking the item as a non-clickable type. Michael fixed a bug in Material a couple of days ago (so not released yet), where Material would send the string "undefined" for title, etc, if these were not set - this -might- be the issue you are seeing. If so, will be fixed in next release - or you could checkout the git/master version. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Spotty: playback of Ogg 320 kb/s
Unfortunately the librespot library Spotty is using does convert the data to PCM, rather than forward the OGG stream directly. That said you can try to disable Spotty's conversion to mp3 and/or flac. The Boom should be able to stream PCM without transcoding. At the risk of having interruptions due to the higher bitrate required. It's a network stability vs. CPU load trade-off. But give it a try anyway. It takes about 30 seconds for a track to start playing when played via the Spotify app on Android. This is roughly the same whether played through wired gigabit or wireless (I've tested both 2.4 and 5GHz). What if you used the LMS Spotty interface? Any faster? Without your plugin, the more information screen is not clickable and there is no such browsing at all. Anyway, I was advised to check the behaviour on the default skin and here it works flawlessly, so maybe there's something with the other plugin. glorifyday's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68868 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99537 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] iPeng support thread
Hi, I love iPeng and use it on both on iPhone and iPad. For the iPhone app there is something that puzzles me. I hear often a random title mix. When I start editing the playlist, e.g. remove songs, after a short while the playlist becomes confused. Sometimes it indicates the wrong song that is played, often it shows two identical songs at the end of the playlist, from which one is another song. The song view is always right. And it never happens on the iPad. Has one of you seen that behavior and can help? /Jens JensD's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65310 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=51929 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Is there any easy way to downgrade the plugin to its previous version? No. But in order to figure out whether the menu issue is related to this plugin or not, just uninstall it (settings will be saved). Try without. if the issue remains, then it's not this plugin (which I'm pretty sure will be the case). -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Clicking on the 'M' icon in the default web UI's queue should provide the same info as selecting 'More' from a track's context menu in the queue with Material. (And this should be the same as clicking the "(...)" icon). To me, the info list looks the same as always - and I have the latest version of each. (Noticed a slight oddity with Material - selecting "More" from the queue shows current cover as background to info list, but "(...)" does not...) cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

So if you get a HTTP error (e.g. 40x, 50x) - the error will be cached and refreshed if you try every few minutes. If the fetch works but there are missing or unplayable programs - the issue is the BBC and management of data feeds. The BBCiPlayer and BBCiPlayerExtra plugins do not look for podcast (MP3) but the broadcast programs (AAC) which for UK listeners have higher quality. Some program BBCionly make the podcast available. The BBCiPlayer plugin menu which has 7 days is a XML feed for 3rd parties and I think it is refreshed only 3-4 times during the day (and I think not at night) . Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Music & Artist Information plugin
Is there any easy way to downgrade the plugin to its previous version? I am using the 'material skin' and the 'music and artist information' plugins. As I stated some day on this forum, I am mostly using Logitech-bundled Tidal app for LMS. The combo of these plugins gave me a very useful way of browsing Tidal. On a now-playing screen I would choose the "i" icon, then click on "(...)" (or something like that) and then I had the track info with clickable categories. Then I could click on the artist, for instance, and Tidal app would list the artist's albums. Then I could play them, add to queue, etc. This was a very nice browsing functionality. The more useful because the Tidal app is not particularly user friendly in terms of music searching and browsing. I updated both plugins to newest versions and some functionality is gone. Starting from now-playing screen I can still tap-browse to all artist's records, but then the context menu for each listed item was dramatically cut. I can "add to favourites" and do one more thing, I cannot remember what... anyway nothing I need. glorifyday's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=68868 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=99537 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Is there caching of the feeds for listen again which means that if e.g., you try and listen to a program that was broadcast just a couple of hours ago it won't show? The show 'World At One' on Radio 4 broadcast at 1pm -> 1.45pm. It's currently available on BBC Sounds App to listen to, but in LMS the last available program from today is a program that finished at 1pm today - it's now 3.35pm murkle's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=40710 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi there, after updating the plugin I report, that autoscrolling to a focused edit box works almost perfect. The only imperfection is that sometimes the editbox is obscured at the bottom, but at the height of only two or three pixels, so it doesn't really matter. [SlimDevices: Plugins] Best player for macOS, for remote connections
Hi all, I'm looking for the best player to run on my Mac at work, connecting through an SSH tunnel to my squeezebox server at home. I've tried a few options and I'm not entirely happy with what I've done with any of them: The SSH tunnel forwards 9000 and 3483 to my home machine. I've verified it's working by going to http://127.0.0.1:9000/ and controlling LMS. My Mac is running 10.14.3. My squeezebox server is a raspberry pi 3b+ running Logitech Media Server Version: 7.9.1. Squeezelite v1.9.1-1130 - Connects fine, works well, is stable - but in the default configuration I have lots of pops and crackles when mousing about certain things (browsers are bad for this!) typing and changing desktops. Very odd, doesn't happen with any other players. Softsqueeze 3.9.2 - Connects fine (even better that it has a built-in SSH tunnel), works well, audio is clean - but isn't stable. Crashes when pausing/playing, skipping tracks, or setting the playing point to somewhere in the middle of the track. Occasionally causes the squeezebox server to crash when it does - something to do with RAM utilisation of the LMS process skyrocketing. SqueezePlay 7.8.0r328 - Can't connect via the SSH tunnel Any advice here? I'd be happy using Squeezelite if the audio issues can be resolved. Thanks in advance!
