Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
I'm using LMS and OpenHab (with the spotify binding). I don't know OpenHab and how it's interacting with Spotify or LMS. I have an issue, that the Spotify (Group-)Player (Wohnzimmer) gets OFFLINE in Openhab after 7 hours (not sure if this time is stable but I noticed this always after a few hours). I only see one relevant event in the server.log, where the daemon for the group player is being restarted. There's no sign as to why it is being restarted. The regular check does not seem to have it seen as "disappeared". Daemon restarts can happen when a sync group changes (eg. one of the players is removed, or disappears from LMS). Or sometimes the daemon looses connection to Spotify, in which case it's automatically restarted, too. -- Michael ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

There is no space for an on/off icon per-player, as in there is already an icon - which I find useful to show single/group player. And clicking on the speaker icon would be an unexpected way to power on/off a player. cpd73's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=66686 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

There's a really useful (but perhaps somewhat unknown) feature in the default skin that I'd love to see in Material. In the default skin, the "Choose Player" dropdown allows you to turn any player on or off with a single click - without having to select that player or open a new dialog or page. With DASH - data is sent in 6.4 sec chunks and the plugin fetches a few chunks ahead of time to ensure it has a buffer. Your log shows many fetchs took between 1 and 4 secs to be received and a few took 7, 9 and even 11 seconds. This means buffer could be depleted and so you would get rebuffering. The issue is somewhere between your LMS server and the BBC. However the log showed other network errors between and mysqueezebox.com - so I would think there is something happening on your WAN link - perhaps router is going faulty, cables/network sockets are damaged or if using DSL or radio link to ISP - it is not reliable. I once had a bad DSL ISP link which was tracked to a faulty connection where cable entered house - it was erratic depending on the weather (rain, heat) bpa's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=1806 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] [Announce] Spotty 2.8.x - Spotify Connect for your Squeezebox
Hi I'm using LMS and OpenHab (with the spotify binding). I have an issue, that the Spotify (Group-)Player (Wohnzimmer) gets OFFLINE in Openhab after 7 hours (not sure if this time is stable but I noticed this always after a few hours). But I guess the problem must be in LMS spotty plugin, because I can "reactivate" it by disable/enable "Spotify Connect" in LMS player settings. Afterwards the Spotify group player becomes ONLINE in OpenHab. I attached the server.log from LMS and the log from OpenHab (at 13:27 the player went OFFLINE in OpenHab). I activated the Player @06:31h on the same day. When trying to synchronise Spotty with iPeng Playback enabled, I get the error "Waiting to sync..." shown on the Squeezebox Radio screen. When I try to playback using Spotty through iPeng with iPeng un-synched from the other Squezebox devices it doesn't work. Is this a known problem, and more interestingly, is there a way around this? iPengMaidenhead's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=69190 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110601 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I do use random song mix but the tracks being added are not part of the genre selected for the mix. When selecting the tracks I have been adding them to a blank playlist so don't think the random song mix is the answer. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Missing icon/artwork and What's Playing on LG Touch screen and Duet Remote
Your translation and analysis is spot on - on my network only authorised devices are allowed (at a firewall level) internet access. Granting the Touch and Duet remote internet access resolves the problem, The other devices that worked okay (as they are multi use) have always been allowed internet access. However I am mystified as to why this problem has only just occurred. I was suspicious having recently updated LMS to the latest version that this may have been a possible cause. The Touch and Duet have been blocked from external access for many months - and I don't think its a stale state table issue on the firewall as that has been rebooted in the interim on a couple of occasions. With regard to BBC iPlayer plugin has it always been the case that it needed direct internet access from client devices for icons et al or is this a fallback method if it is unable to obtain the information via LMS ? As ever thanks for your help. farrina's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=65601 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=110599 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Hi Craig. Just come across a little issue: when selecting individual tracks if I click the play button rather than add them to the playlist then other random tracks are added. Can you replicate this?
