I'd forgotten about the ciphers. As to the screen, I use the custom clock as the screen saver, not the initial playing screen. If I need to use the Touch screen itself one touch gets me back to the standard screen, but I almost always use the remote or web control, so the buttons don't give me anything, The biggest issue for me was trying to cram in everything for classical music. I entirely agree that for other genres it's not so helpful. I need, composer, conductor, band/orchestra, and so on, and space is limited. There's an icon above the queue that has two arrows pointing in opposite directions. If SLX cannot find the previously-selected player, it currently defaults to the top player in the list. This happens with local and group players. One time when I'd accidentally left my local DAC turned off, SLX defaulted to the "Basement" player at the top of the Standard Players list, and startled someone down there. Another time when it lost track of a group player it defaulted to my "All" group at the top of the Group Players list, and awakened my spouse in the bedroom. As player names are sorted by ASCII, my solution has been to simply put a period (.) in front of my preferred local and group player names: my office desktop SLX, and a group player that contains only my office desktop SLX. I am asking because 'Podcasts' and 'Was lief da eben'-apps show in the apps section of the material skin. Switch Player to me is currently available only in the Squeeze CTRL-app... I doubt that an 'official' release of 7.9.2 would trigger Synology to
update . I've only seen updates form Synology when Perl was updated on
the DSM site of things, and they had to update the LMS packages as well.
Yes, I would love to see a more consistent release cycle from Synology,
but IMO that's wishful thinking. But even LmsUpdate is depending on
their work. For me, it's simply not do-able to compile all modules for
all architectures. So, as long as they will update LMS with every Perl
