Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Announce: Material Skin
I have an issue with the latest Material update, ID=98ababd5. I am using Material on a laptop and I have sized the browser window so that the mobile layout kicks in. Everything looks and works fine, except the Volume control. In the mobile layout the Volume control changes to a button of course, and in the Browse and Queue displays, clicking on the Volume button produces a drop-down volume window with the slider control. This does not happen however in the Now Playing display. In this case scrolling the mouse wheel while hovering over the Volume button changes the volume, which is inconsistent with the other two displays. I note of course that Material does NOT do anything like this when rendering the mobile display on my Android phone. *Living Room:* SB Touch + DIY PSU > CI Audio VDA.2 DAC + VAC.1 PSU > VRX.1 cables > Emotiva XSP-1 Gen 2 preamp + XPA-DR2 amp > Blue Jeans cables > B&W 804 speakers *Laptop:* System76 Galago + Ubuntu 16.04 + Squeezelite + Vivaldi/Material Skin > Emotiva Little Ego DAC > Grado PS500 headphones *Phone:* Pixel 3a Phone + SB Player + Material web app > Bluetooth > Bose SoundLink Revolve *Server:* Puget Systems Serenity + Ubuntu 18.04 + LMS 8.0 *Music:* Personal FLAC, Radio Paradise FLAC, Qobuz, Spotify Ron F.'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109624 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I looked into what it would take to make the current Moon Phase Icon available in a Custom Clock screen. Unfortunately in addition to minor modifications to SDT it looks like it would also take modifications to the CCH plugin and possibly the Custom Clock applet. I do not believe @erland is actively adding functionality to either the CCH plugin or the CC applet at this time. Michael, these are albums rather than tracks. They are consistent between LMS and Qobuz grids until about the halfway point and then they lose all continuity. I also found several albums on the Qobuz grid that are no longer available. I deleted them. Please try to delete all non-playable items and see whether this improves the behaviour in LMS. The fact that you see less imported albums than you have favorites might tell us that some/many of them were no longer playable. Upgrade to 8.0 did not help. It even did not start downloading the RaopBridge.zip anymore. The I've installed a small plugin with success (ABC Australia...). After that I've tried to install Airplay plugin again and download of RaopBridge.zip started. Noticed that download was reset sometimes during transfer (file size started from 0 bytes again). They are consistent between LMS and Qobuz grids until about the halfway point and then they lose all continuity. I also found several albums on the Qobuz grid that are no longer available. I deleted them. Interestingly, the LMS grid did not display them at all. Obviously, there is something weird happening all around. I've already waited for the download to finnish before clicking the restart button, but this did not help. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
A couple of updates were made to the LMS plugin download code over the last weekend - to help with some issues seen when downloading large plugins from Sourceforge (like this one). So - if you are feeling brave you could install the LMS 8.0 nightly. Alternatively - request the plugin update - but do not click on the LMS Restart for 30 mins or so and see if that helps. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] ANNOUNCE: AirPlay Bridge = integrate AirPlay devices with LMS (squeeze2raop)
My Airplay Bridge plugin has stopped working: LMS drops me a note that it needs a restart to update plugins, but whe I click restart now it just re-downloads RaopBridge.zip to /cache/DownloadedPlugins and does not install it. I've checked sha1sum of the Zip and it is 7829967236a7f84075a17afe8d5ceb0030650ce7 (as also defined in repo-sf.xml). Any ideas? Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBC IPlayer runs late and slow
Thanks for all the comments above, helped me sort an issue where today for some reason all the BBC presenters had deeper voices. Checked the File Types settings, but all were set at default. *Fixed the issue in the BBC iPlayer settings by changing the default stream from HLS to DASH*. After changing this, I noticed when playing a BBC stream it was no-longer being transcoded from AAC to PCM, I guess this is what to watch out for. I'm using piCorePlayer v6.0.0, LMS 7.9.2, iPlayer v1.6.8 geekshow's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=70107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=108717 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

No, that's fine - and makes sense. I was just confirming :) *Material debug:* 1. Launch via http: //SERVER:9000/material/?debug=json 2. Open browser's developer tools 3. With the stats - are the "Total Tracks" in "Library Statistics" *just* the local tracks, or local + online tracks? Likewise for "Total Playing Time", etc. Ha! cpd73 wrote: > @Michael how do I get this info? For the LMS library stats I use the > "serverstatus" command. Argh... that serverstatus command is carrying too much information for my taste already... the information would be available from the systeminfo call. Code: { "id": 0, "params": [ "00:04:20:ab:cd:ef", ["systeminfo","items",0,25000,"menu:1"] ], "method": "slim.request" } But you'd then have to parse and walk that navigation tree - which sucks. You could implement another custom call (or add it to one of your already existing calls) similarly to what the web UI does (see https://github.com/Logitech/slimserver/blob/0f325ce60c4c326ca34bdc8fd2c6c0da1a21ffcf/Slim/Web/Settings/Server/Status.pm#L31 downwards): Slim::Menu::SystemInfo->menu() would get you all the data. Part of the that are items with a ->{web}->{group} = 'onlinelibrary' attribute. That's what you'd use to get the data to display. Michael "It doesn't work - what shall I do?" - "Please check your server.log and/or scanner.log file!"
