The package center informs you about the installed version,  and the
newest version. The installed version should show  8.0.0-1588308753. The
newest version always shows the latest version of  Synology, 7.7.6 (if
you have the beta channel activated it will show 7.9.1).

I have no such information. As far as I know all nas from DS*13 and up
