Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer V1.6 (and higher) & BBCiPlayerExtra 2.0 (and higher) Support
I didn't consciously install the slimline version, but it seems a bit rude of them to call it by the same name and version it higher then the real thing! I suppose imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, but it's causing issues, so they really shouldn't have done it that way. Anyway, offending item disabled, and iPlayer and iPlayer extras working and much faster too. Keep up the good work! jemhayward's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Don't know if this is relevant, but is odd. Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] BBCiPlayer V1.6 (and higher) & BBCiPlayerExtra 2.0 (and higher) Support
I tried to use iPlayer Extras today to catch up with Late Junction on BBC R3. First problem was it had disappeared from my menus, and I found that the plugins iPlayer and iPlayer Extras were not active in my plugins. Activated them again, and went back to the interface, and they had appeared again, but nothing plays. I've recently updated, and I'm now on Logitech Media Server Version: 8.0.0 - 1599413218 @ Sun Sep 6 19:43:01 WEDT 2020 Is it me, or is something broken? jemhayward's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=109826 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] Analogue Output on one channel only
Hanging head in shame::: The only bit of the system I hadn't disturbed was the speaker and their cables. Guess what, one of the speaker cables had detached itself from the speaker in the ceiling! So nothing to do with the Pi, PiCore, LMS, the amp etc.. serves me right for trying to work on new kit car and bathroom sound system at the same time! jemhayward's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112669 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] Analogue Output on one channel only
I've been messing about with the output amp for my RPi PiCore squeezebox. I did try a USB amp (Topping TP32) but it would not play, so went back to analogue, which is fine as it's only the bathroom system. It's now playing one channel only. The cable buzzes out as OK, so it looks like it's only outputting on one channel. I can't find the settings to check and change this. jemhayward's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=112669 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

I'd seen the article, but was reluctant to spend £5.99 (times are hard!!!) on something that just might work. However I seem to have exhausted all the free offerings, so I think I must invest! later... Tried AirSync - it's linked to their media player, so will airplay files that are on the phone, but not random facebook videos or youtube posts which is what I'm trying to do. It's also not 'optimised' for Android 10 and freezes. jemhayward's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=106289 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

[SlimDevices: Plugins] PiCorePlayer multiple SSID
I have PiCorePlayer running on a PiZero and set up the WiFi, via wpa_supplicant.conf with manual config. It works fine, but I have three different WiFi networks at home, and this is a portable device, so it would be nice if it would just connect to whichever SSID it found, rather then struggle along with the one it's set up with. If I re-write my wpa_supplicant.conf to add # Maintained by piCorePlayer I can then edit the WiFi settings via the interface which will make life easier anyway, but can I set up more than one SSID? jemhayward's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111999 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Many thanks for pointing me in the right direction... have read most of the thread, but my speaker only works on the outside WiFi and I've run out of light before I got to the later posts in the thread. I think I'm getting there, but as I'm not that technical, I suspect I may be asking some questions about what I actually do tomorrow. Now I've sudo pigiod do I have to do that again, or is that now a permanent thing? Basically I have an encoder on GIPO 16 & 18, and so I think I need to put something somewhere that expresses that... hopefully tomorow I'll work it out. jemhayward's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111979 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins
[SlimDevices: Plugins] Hardware Volume Control, Justboom AmpZero & PiCore Player
I got my 'Table' speaker out today and although it booted and connected to WiFi it didn't register with LMS and there was no web interface on the IP address. So I have re-installed using PiCore Player v6.0.0 Real Time Kernel - set up for my JustBoom Amp Zero hat, and it's all working fine, except that the rotary encoder volume knob I installed ages ago isn't working. I can't recall how I got it working, but when trying to find out I did realise that my old distro was Max2Play anyway! Is there a 'setting' in the PiCore distro for hardware volume control with this card? I don't really want to go back to Max2Play as my other systems are mainly PiCore (one is volumio at the moment). There seems to be something on github, but I can't recall it being that complicated last time. jemhayward's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=55065 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=111979 ___ plugins mailing list plugins@lists.slimdevices.com http://lists.slimdevices.com/mailman/listinfo/plugins

Has anyone come up with a method of disabling "random" and "shuffle" modes, on the SBT, or at the server end.
