the linn works so far with dev4 (jumping between tracks is fine since i use the dev4) only without gapless. wav are played but converted into FLAC. but that's not really a problem. also DSD (with the DSD plugin) works with converting into FLAC. tried also dev5 and set dual GET to 404, everything is fine so far. So for gapless playback on Linn i need a OpenHomeBridge (needs do be written by someone :rolleyes:)? some logfiles bevor using the repo. I managed to get the linn play again flac (supported codes must be set to flc,pcm,mp3) The next track is only played when gapless is set to no (but the linn supports gapless) but with a one-second gap. As i can see in the log even when the gapless is set on yes the next track is sent to the linn but it doesn´t start playing and the remain playing time count to negative. I remember somebody earlier in this thread mentionning that Klinnis using OpenMedia which does not support gapless playback the way UPnP implements its. It has its own way that I don't support. Hi, did some testing. mp3 and FLAC work so far, also jumping between the tracks works most of the time, sometime the KLIMAX doesn´t react, after some track - jumping it play again? also 24 Bit work up to 192kHz, only dsf doesn´t (but i think KLIMAX can´t playback this format and that´s not problem as I have only some testfiles) But playing gapless or next track doesn´t work. Well ... being a bridge between LMS and UPnP makes things difficult hence there is a lot of parameters that can make it or break it. Having said that, and thanks for the log, it seems that the Linn is trying to do something uncommon : opening to HTTP streams in parallel to obtain the same file at the same time. It is authorized by the standard, unless uncommon. My application cannot serve 2 streams in parallel, so what it does is refusing the second one, which again is normally authorized. It seems that the Linn does not like that and depending of the timing when the second stream is requested, the playback stops. I'm not fully sure and it might require a decent amount of investigation to confirm that. So before doing that, I wanted to ask you how hard do you really want to make that work, because it seems that we are facing a infrequent use case here, so I want to make sure we do a good use of our respective time :) LMS 7.7.5 - 5xRadio, 3xBoom, 4xDuet, 1xTouch, 1 SB2. So, I want to make sure you are willing to go through that. I you want to, maybe there is one thing you can try, which is using the dev version as I changed the way to exchange messages with UPnP devices for a more robust one. I already have one or two ideas of other things to try, but again this requires test and test ... OK, i understand. the reasons why it makes sense to have a look to get LINN working: I think the LMS is together with iPeng the most advanced streaming control. Usability, stable, great features and because of open source there are a lot of nice plugins. Many users are looking for "better" streaming clienst, you can see this also from the response to your plugin. LINN I think is one of the best streaming clients (compared to touch, transporter, raspi - things) and only in my HiFi Group we are 3 guys love iPeng and also LINN! Hi, after spending hours... i can playback FLAC but not always, sometime they play, sometimes not, the same with mp3, klimax always stop after one track (don´t care what is set in "Player handles "next track") playback of 24bit mp3 is ok, never got 24bit FLAC working. Usually, it means there is something funny with the codec that the UPnP player reports to support. yes, it is a flac, when playback via the LINN App it shows FLAC, happens also with self ripped flac´s. (Vortexvox autoripper) When using the skweezyDS plugin in LMS FLAC are played correct... This happens when for example, you want to send an MP3 file to a player that only supports flac or pcm. LMS does not, by default "upscale" files from mp3 to flac/pcm (it considers that mp3 *must* be supported and upscaling from mp3 to flac does not make any sense as this does not do any improvement anyway, just wasting bandwdith).
