Hi chris, i hope that i have the spelling of your name right?  Thank you for 
that information.  I know for a fact that i can use my yamaha motif es and 
connect it to a computer using a usb cable. i want to use the NKS88 in order to 
play the sounds of my motif es6.  The reason is so that i don't have to keep 
changing to a different octive.  This is something that i have to do when using 
the motif es 6 But i can use the NKS 88 so that i can act as though i have the 
motif es 8 instead of the motif es 6. Thank you for all your help and i want to 
thank rocco as well.  If someone has a semular setup to mine i would like to 
know how you have things setup?  This way i can get an idea of how i should 
have things going. the only other thing that i wish that i had is more audio 
outs in order that i can connect more of my gear i have the scarlet 18-20ii 
Think that the 2 roman numerals stand for 2 if i'm not mistaken.  Thanks again.

Wouldn't he need to get the motif into midi mode and enable that, and maybe 
turn local mode off? Where in the motif do you go to do this? Even if he 
doesn't need to do this in his case, I'd personally like to know how to 
navigate the motif to do both these things, what to push, and how many times to 
scroll, select, etcetera.

Hi Steve Martin, pro tools support all the things that you mentioned, i'm just 
not sure how to connect my Yamaha Motif es 6 to my current setup.  i know that 
pro Tools supports midi but the question is can i use a usb cable to connect it 
to my mac mini.  After connecting my Yamaha motif es6 to my mac mini through 
the usb port what is next? Thank you for any other information that you might

Hi, Nick, how are you? Thank you for mentioning avid icloud, if this is what 
you mean, then yes the reason why i want to uninstall this is because acording 
to what i heard that this particular icloud, item slows down pro tools.  This 
is why i want to disable it.  Not Pro tools or anything else.  i did open the 
applications menu and wint to avid uninstallers folder but when trying to open 
this folder i don't remember anything specific to an avid uninstaller for 
icloud but may be this was hidden where i could not get to it.  Thank you for 
any information that you might have concerning these questions.

uninstall Avid link and the Avid cloud drive that lets you share sessions

What is the big difference between Big sur and monterey in terms of 
accessibility and pro tools?  I'd like to know what about an operating system 
makes Pro Tools easier to either use or install? has anyone who has upgraded to 
monterey noticed any differences in a good way concerning monterey in terms of 
over all accessibility but especially when it comes to using Pro Tools, Flo 
Tools and Keyboard maestro.  Thank you for any information that you might have 
concerning these questions.

tools?  What i'm trying to do is to bring up a most recent project and change 
the bass patch that i'm using for this project.  I'm not sure how i need to go 
throu the patches to hear the bass patches.  i also would like to know if 
komplete ultimate will have more bass patches to choose from.  I also want to 
try the p bass if i'm not mistaken on the name of this bass to see whether i 
like the sound of it or would fm8 have some basses that i should try.  Thank

Thank you John.  If I remember correctly all these FB360 files were close 
together, I also noticed that I had to enter my password in order to delete 
these files.  I don't remember having to do that before?  Did you have to do 
that as well?  Is there another way that I can do the same thing for the

I have a template of instruments setup in pro tools but i'm having a problem with selecting sounds!

Hi list members, I have a project that has instruments setup, but it seems that 
I have a problem when selecting an instrument that after I arm the track or in 
this case an instrument that after disarming the instrument and I go to the 
next instrument, I only hear the first instrument, is there something else that 
I need to do?  I'm not really familiar with flo tools yet but what can I do to 
fix this problem?  Thank you for any information that you might have concerning 
this question.  P.S. Is there a fast way to change tempo as well as the 
metronome click to eighth notes?  Thank you.

Hi, list members, how can I make sure that I don't have the facebook 360 plugin 
if I understand this whole thing because when I updated the operating system 
from Catalina 10.10.5 to update Catalina 10.15.6.  I want to make sure that I

What's new in this version of pro tools that we can take advantage of?  Also 
what about new macros for keyboard maestro what new features or functionality 
will we see there?  I'm asking because prior to the new release of pro tools 
there was something concerning updates to keyboard maestro in terms of pro 
tools if i'm not mistaken?  Another question is wht operating system will this 
new version of pro tools work with is it Catalina 10.15.6?  P.S. are there new 
things that we'll have to check in this flight check list?  Thank you for any 
information that you might have concerning my questions.

Hi oreo, how are you?  Where would I find the firmware updater for the ks88 
mk2?  I ask this question because I know that I should probably update the 
firmware for the ks88 mk2 before I update the nativeaccess application.  P.S. 
does anyone happen to know whether pro tools works with Catalina version 
10.15.6, if so, then i'm in good shape but if not.  I'm not sure of where I can 
get it from but first would I have to reinstall the operating system before 
adding the other programs.  I did at least backup the operating system on an 
external drive.  Thank you for any information that you might have concerning 
my questions.

I first did a backup of the system first of all.  But I do have a question of 
how to get the operating system Catalina 10.15.5 from what I understand from 
apple accessibility that if I take the system in to an apple store that I could 
be able to get back to the older operating system but I wanted to make sure 
that everything that I currently have was saved first of all befor I try to 
install the older operating system then I could install everything else.  I'm 
especially concerned about pro tools and other programs that I currently have 
on the system. komplete and other programs.  This is what I've done so far.  
What else needs to be done.  Thank you for any information that you might have.

Is there a way to restore your system back to the previous operating system?

Hi list members, i'd like to know if it is possible for me to restore my mac 
mini to the previous operating system?  I ask this because I wasn't sure 
whether pro Tools and or other programs would work properly using the most 
current operating system which is Catalina 10.15.6.  Thank you for any

i just recently updated the os from catalina 10.15.5 to catalina 10.15.6

If I already deleted fb 360 files befor I updated the os would I get them back 
after the os update?  I have this question but I don't remember anyone saying 
that after files had been previously deleted that they would come back.

Hi, how are you? What you suggested had already been done in terms of removing anything that had fb in the title.  I wonder that after updating the os from Catalina 10.15.5 to Catalina 10.15.6 would bring back things that had already been deleted?  I just thaught that I would ask.  I Don't remember having the problem where the ks88 mk2 is not being recognized by the mac mini.  That has never happened befor.  I don't know what else it could be but after the recognizing of the ks88 mk2 is restored then i'll be able to check for firmware updates.  Another question is can I try to install firmware updates using my windows computer?  at least this way they are installed.-Original Message-

Have you try deleting FaceBook 360 plugins?
For some users, Facebook plugins that come with Pro Tools
  interfere with Accessibility for Komplete Kontrol.
You can find them in /Library/Application
  Support/Avid/Audio/Plug-Ins.
Delete everything that starts with FB360.
Or you can move them to Plug-Ins (Unused) folder if you don't
  want Pro Tools to reinstall when you update.

Didn't someone read the first item that I said.  If the ks88 mk2 was being recognized by my mac mini I wouldn't say other wise.  When I changed u s b cables, the same thing happened.  I did also say that when I try to press the shift+mix at the same time nothing happens.  I also said that Sweetwater remoted in but they suggested that I either send it in for repares or get a replacement.  I'm not sure how long it would take since i'm not sure where native-instruments location is that does the repares.  These are things that are important.  I'm not sure what else I need to say at the moment.  I don't know if anyone else has had these problems but I don't know what else to do?  Thank you for any other suggestions that you might have to solve these problems.-Original Message-

question is where should this be downloaded to, then after downloading, what 
are the items that need to be changed before installing VOCR?  I don't know

I had to hold off on Catalina until after NAMM and an orchestral recording I just completed and will probably upgrade this coming week some time. It makes no difference whether you update Pro Tools under Mojave or under Catalina. Experience should be virtually the same. You might discover you have some 32-bit applications on your system that won't work. Any issues that arise will likely have more to do with third-party software than Pro Tools itself. I'm holding off on the studio system for a couple of weeks until I have a few straight days with no sessions but the laptop will be upgraded sooner. What is g p u and does it make a difference if I use a monitor or not? I 
usually buy monitors with my systems that I buy.  The question also does this 
system have enough ports to support the items that I would be using!

can you use native instruments vst instruments or semular vst's when using pro tools?

Hi list members my question is asked in the subjectline.  I'd like to know how 
accessible native instruments or other vst instruments are when using pro tools 
from a blind persons perspective?  I'm asking because i'm interested in using 
pro tools when I go for music production.  What are our choices in using vst 
instruments in pro tools?  I ask because last time I checked, there didn't seem 
to be very many choices of vst instruments that came with pro tools.  Thank you 
for any information that you might have concerning my question.  I also ask 
this question because I know of some vst instruments that I would like to try 
from a web page gospelmusicians.com and they have some good vst instruments but 
i'd llike to know from our point of view how accessible they are in pro tools 
using voiceover?

Hi, list members, this is what I got from listening to the video.  if you have 
a Mackie pro and you also have an extender, then you will be able to take 
advantage of what he is doing.  I also listemed to the comparison of the artist 
and the 16 channel.  What I gather is that you can have up to 4 of the artist 
control surfaces and get a lot of work done.  you can have 2 of the artist 
control surfaces for $2000.

hi list members, does anyone have any suggestions for control surfaces that can 
be used on either a windows or a mac system?  I have reaper on my windows 
system but I can't quite use it effectively because I don't have an audio 
interface or could I use my project mix for now?  Thank you for any suggestions 
that you might have.

how do you edit individual instruments as well as saved the edit instrument?  is this all possible and how can this be done?  Also it was stated that key bindings are possible in order that the different parameters show up.  How does this work?  Thank you for all information that you might have concerning these questions.-Original Message-

Hi list members, I'd like to know what operating system and what version of pro 
tools should work with the mac laptop that has 6 coars and also what size hard 
drive should be used?  i'm trying to get the best suggestions possible because 
I have an old project mix also I'm looking for something that will support an I 
7 processor.  Is all of this possible considering that I need this to be 
portable?

what is keyboard Maestro and is it only accessible when using pro tools?  Can 
it be used in any versions of sonar producer like version 8.5.3  or the sonar 
x3 platinum version?  Thank you for any information that you might have
