I'm assuming this is saying that this *will* be replaced by the application and not that I need to enter the domain name here. I make that assumption because if I was doing multi domains on this server, this would not work. DKQUEUE The DKQUEUE variable points to the original qmail-queue program for passing the message on down the line when verification completes: DKQUEUE=/var/qmail/bin/qmail-queue.orig This is probably not necessary, but is provided for clarity. Needed or deprecated? RE: [qmailtoaster] Domain Keys/Yahoo Blocking
Hello all, I think I am getting somewhere with this now. I am getting through to yahoo's bulk mail and I think that I see where the issue is. If I email from gmail to yahoo I get ta550.mail.mud.yahoo.com from=gmail.com; domainkeys=pass (ok) If I email from wifi7.com to yahoo domainkeys=neutral (no sig) So it does not look like my emails are being signed However if I send my email from webmail there is a dkim on them. Here is a copy of my tcp.smtp file Any thoughts? 127.:allow,RELAYCLIENT=,DKSIGN=/var/qmail/control/domainkeys/%/private,R BLS :allow,BADMIMETYPE=,BADLOADERTYPE=M,CHKUSER_RCPTLIMIT=50,CHKUSER_WRONG RCP 12.168.80.:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 12.168.90.:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 12.168.84.:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 12.168.85.:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 68.22.149.:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 64.24.214.:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 12.191.:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 64.27.31.108:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 74.218.:allow,RELAYCLIENT= 12.43.212.194:allow,RELAYCLIENT= -Original Message- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, November 28, 2007 1:46 PM To: Todd W Subject: Re: [qmailtoaster] Domain Keys/Yahoo Blocking Thanks. Then I went to the yahoo testing page and tested; Testing xxx.com New test No _domainkey TXT record found for xxx.com Have I forgotten something or will it be a DNS propagation thing? Probably. Check the TTL on the record. Even then they may not flush thier cache until much after the TTL expires. [qmailtoaster] how to fight local generated spam?
Hello gurus, This may have been asked million times already, but... How do I fight local spammers? Recently I noticed my emails were as slow as snail-mail... When I run qmqtools -r, I saw 55000+ messages on the queue... With a small analysis, I found that it was a client of mine, which probably had some virus running and started offering viagra and other drugs via email. What can I do against this? I've took a look at /var/qmail, and I found nothing special. Thank you, Felipe Ceglia - QmailToaster hosted by: VR Hosted http://www.vr.org - To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

There's notes in the wiki under tcp.smtp on how to enable spam scanning on your users - the rest of the tcp.smtp data is out of date, so be selective if you use anything else off of there. smime.p7s Description: S/MIME Cryptographic Signature
[qmailtoaster] Locals file
I think I need a quick review of the Locals control. I just created a new domain from command line. I then created an account in it and tested from an outside email. The message bounced right back to me with the Sorry no mailbox here by that name (#5.1.1) error. I spelled the address correctly even sent a message out from that account so I could do a reply to be sure of the address. Still bounced. I looked into the SMTP log and I see the message coming in and accepted but it bounces. I have several other domains that all were receiving email with no problem. I looked into the locals control by using Webmin and saw the problem domain listed but no others except localhost. I removed the domain from the list and now email is working. In the docs, it says all local domain must be listed in locals but if I put any of my other domains in there, I get bounces. What am I missing here? It seems to be working fine but not the way the docs say it should.
