Fedora Core 9 running 2.6.27.7-53.fc9.i686 and ntp-4.2.4p5-2.fc9.i386

about 150 VMware guests running Red Hat ES4U5 with ntp-4.2.4p5 are

Also about 30 Solaris 9 boxes with ntp-4.2.4p5 are also working well

in other words no problems here with anything that I'm responsible

One of mine did;
I have two Debian Lenny boxes. Kernel 2.6.26-1-486 on a AMD Athlon, and
2.6.26-1-686 on Core 2 Quad. Both are based on Linux 2.6.26-12

Apart from that everything went smoothly.

I had one Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 box lock up. However, I have a
half dozen other boxes running the exact same software set (kernel and
all other packages) that worked just fine.

I've read that a number of people running Oracle RAC (not just Oracle)
